Great Boots
This is the second pair of Muck boots that I bought. The first pair gave me good service everyday for about 3 years. They are comfortable and functional. Excellent boots that I highly recommend.

I have purchased two pairs
I have purchased two pairs of Muckmaster Tall Boots over the past and both pairs were cracked in no time over the toes. I have used sealant to try to get more wear but they continue to crack. They are very comfortable but durability when irrigating is very questionable. Very expensive for the service life they give.

Good in mud, slippery on smooth wet surfaces
Working at an animal sanctuary with mixed surfaces, I wear these boots with caution as the lugs on the outsole are small and rounded. I have slipped on wet wooden steps, ramps, concrete and red brick flooring and one time a gravel path when a lug landed on a small wet stone. After one season of daily wear the rubber has cracked where the big toe bends on both boots. The elasticated top of one boot curves inwards so it rubs my calf and shin. The outsoles are like football boots. I wouldn't wear those on any wet smooth surface either.

Really Weird Sizing
Tried my usual size 9, and my feet were swimming. My heel was sliding all over and I had tons of space in the front, and it felt like I was wearing an extra-wide. Tried a size 8, my heel was still sliding all over and it still felt like I was wearing an extra-wide, but my toes were jammed up at the front. How can the heel and sides be so loose while my toes are jammed? And why don't you make half sizes? Never had a problem with sizing other boots or shoes.

The best mud boots ever!
These are the best pair of mud boots I have ever owned. They are very comfortable for a mud boot and they keep your feet warm in colder weather and don't make your feet sweat too much in warmer weather. They also appear to have a water repellent coating on them.

These boots solved a longstanding problem getting my pants leg inside the boots with my wide calves. Having room to get them on, then snug the boot top to keep mud and water out while still not having them too tight, is just right.

Quality Boots
Bought these for my husband who has very wide calves. They fit perfectly and he loves them, saying they are the smartest, best quality wellington boots he has ever owned (he's 58 years old)! Only problem he has is when it comes to take them off! His feet seem to get stuck and it's very difficult for him to pull his heel up over the indentation above the heel. We spent ages tugging in various ways to get them off - was like a scene from a comedy sketch! Have decided to keep them in the hope that they loosen up in this area and/or he finds a nifty way of easily removing them. Excellent, fast service as always from the Muck Boot Company.

Best purchase
I am so pleased with these boots, especially now we the muddy paddock. My best purchase of the year. Because of wide calf's and strong feet's, I had to go with the man wide calf's, since it's not available in my size in women's and it fits perfectly.

They sound expensive... but worth every penny and I bet they outlast any other pair you might have. You will never dread putting on your wellies again. These things are awesome! Comfy and warm. I use them to walk with the kids in very muddy UK winter weather, sometimes up to 6-7km and these keep my feet very happy. Just do it and get them.

Muckmaster boots
The muckmasters are great boots for temps -5 and up while moving. I found they aren't that warm for sitting. The adjustable wide calf is amazing and such a great addition to these boots. Sizing also fits true. If you have a wide foot or calf then I'd recommend going with men's.
