These boots have proven to be solid performers in the woods and in the fields for hunt dog work. Cool enough for summer and warm for cold weather. Traction is excellent. Fit is spot on and easy to slide on and off. Weight is light enough to work all day.

Gets the job done. I've used them for work and hunting and they keep my feet dry. They've held up for a few years of relatively difficult use.

Great for clearing mountain areas. I like these better than the woman’s boots. I felt more at ease working in the woods. We have a lot of Diamondback rattlesnakes and copperheads. I would recommend these.

I live in Costa Rica and the boot lasted 6 months. I would never spend the $$ I did to buy this boot again. The soles separated from the boot. Poor glue I guess

I bought these for hunting, however the rubber hits the back of my calf and is not very quiet when walking through the woods. They are the correct size. I will get neoprene topped boots or once’s with straps moving forward.

All muck boots SUCK!!!!! the quality control SUCKS!!!! pay this much for a boot and wear it 5 times in 4 months and he glue holding the sole starts separating and letting water in, the quality control department the day my pair was made must have out to lunch that day

Bought these for the more durable outside rubber uppers, rather than the neoprene ones that tear super easy during work as an environmental consultant. So far they’ve held up really well through tough conditions and lots of sharp thorns and branches. Still as comfortable as ever, just slightly less flexibility. But that’s as expected with a full rubber upper I guess.

Very cool and comfortable even in SC heat. I am praying that Muck has upgraded the glue used on the soles. This is my 4th pair in 10 years only because the soles start to come away from boot itself. Haven’t found anything better so I keep ordering.

Recently purchased these boots. They keep my feet dry and hopefully safe from snake strikes. They are comfortable to wear, though a bit heavy. One big gripe: They are DIFFICULT to put on. Folding the shaft down is a serious struggle. Would be a better boot if the followed a competitor and made the top several inches of the boot expandable and cinch to tighten.

Very comfortable and keeping my feet dry walking creek bottoms and working around the farm. Haven't tested the snake proofness of them and with any luck I dont plan to.

This is my fourth pair and I have loved everyone of them and keep ordering BUT after 2-3 years the glue on the sole fails every time. Ofcourse its past the 365 day warranty but the whole boot is in great shape and i hate throwing them away each time. Please come up with some better glue before I order my next pair.

Purchased these in June of last year, loved them and wore them a lot to work around our farm. That is until I waded in shallow water today and felt water coming into the right boot. A hole had developed right at the seam where the sole attaches. Much too expensive to last less than a year

Love these boots, fit true to size and very comfortable

I haven't had to test the snake proofness yet, but the boots are comfortable. As a surveyor, I have worn Mucks for years, but when I went south to work in bayous I always swapped over to much more expensive snake boots. They would only last a season before water would start seeping through. I've had Mucks for years without a leak. Plus they are comfortable enough to wear all day with no fatigue. Very happy with these boots and because of their construction, i know these won't leak either. I'll update this review if a cotton mouth ever takes a swipe at me.

Great fit. I got these before the upcoming Turkey hunt. Had no worries for snakes or other critters. Comfortable and we’re very walkable.

This is my 2nd pair of boots I buy, they are a bit heavy yes. With the job I do I wear these boots 5 days a week, with the amount of Cotton Mouths venomous snakes I see, wearing these boots makes me feel secure walking in some of the wetlands and preserves. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone they are waterproof and the number of times I have hit them with my machete while cutting through some preserves, they have protected me from cutting myself . The only fault if I can say if there is any ,the boots sole wear off guess with the daily use I give this is bound to happen they lasted me about 14 months, I do believe these are great boots if you track through mud, and want to feel safe and secure from snakes highly recommend them.

Changed venues in my Turkey Hunting Adventures moved from the Blue Ridge Mountains to a coastal plain area with potential snake encounters. My Hunting partner had these same boots and the ones I brought were 20 years old and blew up. Creeks were crossed and a couple of Snakes were confronted. This motivated me to purchase the same boot. Very comfortable,great foot support and height of the boot will allow to forge streams. Looking forward to wearing for several years.

We have been using Muck boots for over twenty years and I have to say that they are the most durable brand we have purchased. We are doing a lot of land clearing in a marshy area and these boots with increased snake bite protection allow us to work a bit more comfortably and safely than other boots. These boots are lightweight and and like the other Muck brand boots we have owned, are comfortable working in mud, jumping up on a tractor or driving a vehicle back to town to pick up supplies or equipment. They last a long time and I have to say that we really do torture these boots on farm projects, so it’s nice to know we have boots that maintain a good tread and keep water out for a long time.
