The men's ROCKY® S2V Predator Composite Toe Military Boot has high quality features that wears comfortably, even in the toughest of conditions. This 8-inch lace-up boot in coyote brown, can be worn with all applicable Operational Camouflage Pattern variations and is uniform-compliant in settings that call for a GSA/TAA compliant boot. Made of flash-resistant, water-resistant leather and 1,000-denier CORDURA nylon, this combat boot is coated for flame resistance. Rocky Vapor Pass waterproof technology – our most superior dry experience keeps your feet dry in wet conditions. The durable, triple-stitched military boot stays together through wear and tear and reduces ankle injuries with Roll-Stop Ankle Stability. The stretch LYCRA tongue hugs your foot for a secure fit. This boot meets ASTM F2413 standards for impact and compression with a composite safety toe. It also meets ASTM standards for resisting electrical hazards. This Rocky S2V Predator has a Vibram sole with proprietary high walls and a polyurethane midsole. Inside the footwear are features that make this a comfortable boot. The ROCKY® Air-Port footbed cushions your feet and has perforations for air flow and the fiberglass shank supports the arch of your foot. The sole was falling off of the boot straight out of the box. I normally wear a 10.5 and my toes were scrunched at the end of the boot badly on this model. Sadly disappointed.

I have a pair of alpha Force 12 wides fit great these SUVs 12 wide don't fit it's like someone sewed the wrong size tag in the wrong boot build quality is great besides completely off

Let me preface this with some background information. First, I have wanted a pair of S2Vs for some time now. I had a friend in the military that had a pair and swore up and down they were the best, most comfortable boots ever. Alas, they were not uniform approved, so I never bought them. I recently began a very physically demanding delivery job. So, I bought these about a month and a half ago, and that process could not have been better. The ordering process was smooth and the shipping couldn't have been faster. The break-in period took about 50 hours of wear combined with working with a bat. They were perfect. Comfortable, supportive, and not too hot. The first couple weeks were great. However, after only about two weeks of wear, the stitching holding the outsole to the upper began coming undone. As of right now, the entire toe-end of the right boot's sole is loose. I would have thought that a pair of boots intended for use by the armed forces would have more durability than this. I truly want to love these boots, but for this type of performance for the price point they have, I really can't.

12 wide is my normal size i buy. These fit except the toes are so narrow they push my last two toes into my third toe. I would only buy if you have very narrow feet.

It does take some time to break in. The flap from the zipper made a mark on my leg after the first couple times of wearing but after about two weeks they formed to my foot well and had little issues. I love them
