A LITEBASE Vibram® outsole will also help your feet get traction in wet and muddy environments.The Summit Elite hiking boot also features a light and flexible cement construction as well as a lightweight, shock-absorbing EVA midsole and a fiberglass shank. Our SHIELD Guard technology provides an extra layer of protection for areas of high wear and tear. BOA® fit system ensures quick and easy lacing that won't come undone while on the trail. I have had these boots for only two weeks, I used a shipping method that is problematic in my area. The boot break in period is going great. These boots are light and easy on my feet. The sole is rigid combined with the internal foot bed supports my feet just perfectly. The size fit is just right. The slip on feature took a couple attempts to get right and now that works flawlessly. I will use these boots on more challenging trails after the break in is complete..
Can't get them on!

I was really excited to get a pair of waterproof boots that could be slipped on. I am a size 10.5 medium and there is no way I can get my foot in the hole at the top of the boot.
