Men's ULTRA LITE™ Base Layer Bottoms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ULTRA LITE are just that...very lightweight. They don't provide much warmth. I also have pairs of the LITE and ORIGINAL and find those to be much more effective at maintaining warmth. I was looking a thinner layer for under dress clothes. The ULTRA LITE were also a bit too long in comparison to the LITE and ORIGINAL.

They are Great! Soft and warm enough for mild conditions.

Love the texture. Most guys might not pay attention; but, I’m an old geezer [82 years young], walking is my primary exercise, year-round, and that has to include comfortable warmth when we get to mid-winter. Folks think New Mexico is going to feel like the Sonoran Desert; but, not when you live in a community just outside Santa Fe in a valley at 6300’ altitude. It’s almost as cold in the winter as it got to in my childhood back in New England. These aren’t any thicker than the brands designed for winter sport I’ve used the last few years; but, the textured design is definitely going to be warmer come January and February. I tested them same days and alternate days against our Autumn temperatures and the other two brands I’ve warn recent years and these always felt warmer on my walks, windy or not. Sunny afternoons, I wore them under walking shorts, Dark, cold mornings down to almost freezing, I’ve worn them under Amazon’s standard cotton sweat pants. When we get to the coldest mornings, I’m figuring on these as first choice under heavier cotton-poly blend sweats I wear mid-winter.

Better than I expected. I was afraid my feet would sweat, but they kept my feet at a controlled temp all day on the golf course. Would recommend highly.

I bought these bottoms for my friend and he told me that it is the warmest he has ever been in his life so that means it is good.

They’re warm but the length and the waist size do not match up. I think you need to shrink the waist sizes but keep the length the same.

I've used heat holders for the past 5 years for winter horse riding and barn chores. They are the perfect base layer so this year I purchased a pair for my husband who runs. So far his review has been excellent. They are perfect for people who cannot have merino wool next to their skin as these keep you just as warm without the wool.

Husband wears a lot of these type of underwear and he said these were the best!

Excellent product! Exceeded my expectations. Fit was true to size and not bulky under my clothes. Would recommend to anyone needing extra warmth for outside work or sporting events.
