The XTRATUF Wheelhouse fits the bill for a commercial grade version of the Ankle Deck Boot. When you are on your feet 12 hours or more, feet often will swell. This boot has a wider fit to address this issue and keep you comfortable. The 6-inch upper is reinforced in high wear areas, such as the toe and heel, for maximum durability. This boot features an EVA/PU blend insole for all-day comfort, and an oil resisting, SRC-rated flat outsole for excellent traction.

    Great Boot.

    Wear these every tine I go on the water (alot), I have had the boats for almost a year. They are still holding up perfect. They are still waterproof and Still comfortable. I wear these everyday at work and always will.

    Not a work boot, weekend boot

    I would recommend these for a weekend warrior fun boot, not for a working boot. I work at mulitple beverage production facilities and these didn’t hold up. After walking through the soles of the 12” legacy I wanted to try something more stylish. These absorb water at the soft neoprene, cracked at the stress points where foot bends when crouching and came out of the sole at the toe and heel within 4 months.

    Sole separation

    These boots are labeled as “deck boot” but can’t handle an ounce of hard work. If you are using them for anything but a fashion show then these boots aren’t you for.

    I received these as a replacement on a Warrenty claim for my 6 inch ankle deck boots. My old pair developed a leak, but were much lighter and had a comfortable fit. I would not recommend these. If I had a chance to do it over I would stick with the

    So far I'm very pleased

    They have been comfortable, light enough, good grip, and surprisingly not hot considering I'm wearing them w/ socks at a marina/baitshop in San Leon, TX Texas in the summer. I put on some old shrimper boots the other day for a project and I was reminded how hot and uncomfortable those are. So far I am pleased. I hope they hold up. My advise is make sure to get the right fit/size for you. I did exchange my first order to go one size smaller for the best fit for me. I'm glad I did that.

    Much more comfortable

    I love the wheelhouse boots. They're much more comfortable than the originals. But im just over 3 months in of wearing them just about every day, and im noticing some cracking in the rubber where my foot bends and that the reinforced toe seems to be ripping off.

    Awesome boots

    Love them, wear them every day here in Montana. Great boots for variable weather like spring in the Rockies. Sizing on Xtratufs are a little wonky you might want to try on a pair at a store first.

    Very comfortable to stand in all day, the sizes are true, with wider fit and no half sizes in larger sizes it was a little big, put inserts in and they fit perfect!

    Solid captain boots for SFL
