Metabo Genuine OEM 14.4-18 Volt Li-ion Rapid Charger - UC18YKSLM

I'm used to fan-cooled "fast" chargers, so this one seems slow by comparison, but that’s not necessarily bad (and may even extend battery life) if you have spare batteries to use while one is charging. The lights indicating status are a little counter intuitive compared with most other brands too. All of that said, it charges well enough.

What a nice set up from Metabo. I have never found a company that builds quality like Metabo does. Every tool I have purchased has outperformed my expectations!

Not much you can say about a recharger, other than it work very well.

The Metabo brand is on more tools in my shop than any other. As a furniture make I , like you simply want the best tool available. When Metabo bought Hitachi I was worried, how often does the brand get better? Well Metabo brought Hitachi into the professional market and all the tools are superior.

Does the job but, I would like to see Metabo hpt would just give the second tier charger with the fan and stop making this one.

I really love the new smaller sized charger. Takes up less space on my desk and all my batteries hook up nice and easy

Easy to use. Easy to read. And the built in protection features are awesome.

These is the basic Metabo charger with some advantage over the previous version, with my previous chargers (included in some combos) I was not able to charge 36 Volt batteries something I can do now. With the next generation of Metabo chargers you could charge cellphones, speakers, and other devices thanks to the USB port. The charger is small enough to go in your tool bag but is not so delicate like the ones from RIDGID. Unfortunately has space for just one battery at the time but but but is a fast charger.

Stopped working after a year and a half of very light use

Best drill I've ever had and when the opportunity came, I purchased the Metabo for its compact size, lighter weight and longer battery life. I do a lot of construction for HFH and the drills performance is excellent. This charger came with it and it works great keeping the batteries efficiently charged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes the battery does not seat into the charger. Have to push the battery in harder to get it to connect, otherwise it is a good charger

The charger works great, the only thing I would improve is the lights to know when the battery is fully charged other than that it's pretty good.

I received this charger with my compact drill I purchased recently. It works beautifully with the included batteries. It doesn’t take up too much space and it is very simple and straight forward. It charges sufficiently fast and doesn’t overheat. It features solid construction just like all of Metabo tools and should last for years to come!

Purchased my first HPT Metabo tool years ago. Still using the original charger with the other tools I have purchased over the years. If it ever fails I have plenty of new ones!
