The Lightning to USB-A Braided Cable - heyday™ will NOT fit an iPhone 16 Plus. Here's why, and why the previous information might have been misleading: iPhone 16 Plus uses USB-C: The iPhone 16 series (including the 16 Plus) uses a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. Apple transitioned the iPhone from Lightning to USB-C starting with the iPhone 15 series. Lightning Cable vs. USB-C Cable: A Lightning cable (like the one you purchased) has a proprietary Lightning connector on one end, which is designed for older iPhones (iPhone 14 and earlier). A USB-C cable has the smaller, oval-shaped USB-C connector on both ends, or USB-C on one end and USB-A on the other. Therefore, a Lightning cable will physically not fit into the USB-C port of your iPhone 16 Plus. For your iPhone 16 Plus, you need a cable with a USB-C connector on the phone end. To connect to a car's USB-A port: You need a USB-A to USB-C cable. To connect to a car's USB-C port: You need a USB-C to USB-C cable.
