Thanks to Metabo HPT’s unique Air Spring Drive System that produces a similar feel like using a pneumatic nailer, combined with the power of the MultiVolt 36V battery, this cordless Metal Connector nailer works all day long driving 1-1/2 in. and 2-1/2 in. nails up to 0.162 in. in diameter. Sits in the toolbox.
The safety nose is garbage. You have to be lined up exactly square and pushed in ALL the way for it to fire. Forget trying to get into tight spots or side nails at an angle. Useless to us as framers. Maybe if they sold a replacement safety nose thing that worked better.

It worked great definitely love that it has the power needed to get the job done with out a compressor but then it stopped working so I guess we will see what hoops i need to go through to have it fixed it still

Time saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this gun a few months ago for multiple deck projects, and what a time saver! This thing is great for 1 1/2” hanger hardware and I like the fact it also takes 2 1/2” nails for double sheer nailing. It’s is a bit heavy but not enough to really be an issue. Haven’t had any issues with jamming. The nailing tip can be a little tricky to get to engage but not really an issue. Overall it’s a great addition to have if your doing lots of framing.

i bought this to install joist hangers on a job that had 21 fasteners per bracket. After researching and noting that it would nail over 900 nails per charge i was sold. and i can testify this is true it shot over 900 2 1/2 inch nails.

Only cordless that shoots 2 1/2 as well as 1 1/2
Finally a nailer that can also do 2 1/2 inch nails! The fact that it's cordless is great, however it's heavy. But don't let that persuade you, if you have used any cordless framing nailer it's essentially the same thing. The speed more than makes up for the weight. I have been able to get it in just about all situations. The only issue I've had is 12" on center spacing. It will not do double shear angles on 12" on center but this is a minor inconvenience. Trex allows 16" on center so unless your doing any cheaper composites then it shouldn't be an issue. Overall very pleased with the nailer.

I don’t miss that often with the hammer but it always seems to be when putting on brackets, no longer though. All my nail guns are metabo htp, definitely leading the market with the new gear. Tracksaw is definitely on the to buy list.

A Beast
This positive placement metal hanger gun is awesome. It never misses sending spikes ricocheting off the plates. Fires up to 2 1/2" maybe 3in nails. The standard 1 1/4 in nails for basic deck structures fire great, saving lots of time, no air hose to drag around posts and joists. It gets heavy but using 2 hands shouldn't be a problem. You do have to have room to depress the tip fully or it will not fire, say if you can't get the gun oriented straght at the hole, so might need the occasional palm nailer for those, but all in all great tool and it will nail as fast as you can go.

Comparable to a pneumatic metal connector nailer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these nailers in the summer of 2022 to do a job where we installed a floor system in a building made out of fox block, so as you can imagine there were a lot of metal connectors to install. Everyone on the crew was impressed at how well they operated, the power they had, and their run time on one battery. It was also great to go all over the job site without have to make sure the air hose was going to reach or hoping that it wasn’t going to get tangled on something somewhere. I would definitely recommend one if you are in the market for a metal connector nailer

Awesome Gun
Bought this gun to avoid dragging the compressor and hose out. Compared to the pneumatic version, its heavier, but does the same job with ease. Its a great addition to have especially when you don't have power to run a compressor on site. Its as advertised, you'll run out of fasteners or the day before the battery dies.

Great nailer but heavy
I bought this last summer and it works good for some uses. If you only need to put a couple hangers or clips on it’s great but if you have to do a few it gets to be too heavy and big to use. If the size was shrunk down it would be amazing.

Awesome tool very practical
Main reason I bought this tool was for window installation and for hangers obviously. This tool did not disappoint. We use it during cold, wet and hot weather never failed us yet. Window installation where we are include a vinyl nailing flange on the outside and metal brackets on the inside and this prevents the accidental hammer to the windows from hand nailing it.

Great durability
I bought this nail gun hoping to not use my compressor on small framing jobs. Gun works great for small jobs although is too heavy for an all day framing job. I do love the finish nailer and Brad nailer I bought . They are very convenient and low weight to use for finish jobs. I think the smaller batteries are very convenient and light weight. Probably will buy smaller batteries in the future. All and all great alternatives to bringing your air compressor to all your jobs.

Best cordless framing gun.
Great Gun. I’ve own both Milwaukee and this gun and this is always my go to nailer. It’s slightly lighter and is easier to get into tight spaces. The automatic off when the gun hasn’t been used for a while is annoying but the sky hook is more versatile. The battery life is pretty good the Milwaukee has more options in this area but that adds even more weight.
