i don’t know why there are so many reviews on how this locker was awful to put together, i thought it wasn’t so bad! it took about an hour and is the cutest addition to my apartment! i love the blue color and would love to get another in pink!

almost all of the holes were misaligned. I even took my time and didn’t screw everything tight until the end. I took it apart and tried again. The door sits crooked. I’d return it but it’s not worth my gas money to drive back to the store LOL. Thankfully I purchased it discounted but honestly still not even worth $42. Sucks because this is the first time i’ve been disappointed with furniture from target

I have built many cheap furniture items, but this was the worst. The holes for the screws do not align properly and the last few weren’t even large enough for the screws. I managed to put the locker together but could not screw on the locker door at all. The paint job on the locker was also very delicate. Scuffed up some parts of the locker despite handling it carefully and placing a soft blanket down to work on. Took me three hours before I finally gave up (normally takes me 30-45 min max to put together small furniture). Definitely sad because I was looking forward to having a cute little locker! Thankfully I called Target regarding the issue and my local store helped me process my refund with zero problems.

Cute cabinet for a boys sports themed room. Has a locker room feel to it. The cabinet is not quite square. We made many small adjustments to get the door to close and it’s still not quite flush. The shelf went in hard too, needed an adjustment and a solid nudge. Ended up scratching the finish. My 10 yo son really likes that it came with a lock/key and he can lock his baseball cards in there. :)

I am a very handy individual, I have build furniture, cars and even structures. This is very poetry manufactured. Like the others said the holes are milled unevenly, and the metal is bent and warped. I was able to make mine work, with 2 screws unable to fit in and the tray fitting unevenly . If you must, make sure to loosley tighten the screws in each step before you tighten.

Assembly was far more difficult than necessary. It would have been a lot easier to assemble if anything lined up correctly and you didn’t have to fight to get anything to fit together. Buyer beware! My item came missing the magnetic piece that goes on the door, the one piece that would hold the door closed. If I want my to close my cabinet I have to use the keys to lock it shut. Also the metal cracked where the magnet is on the inside of the cabinet.
