[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aesthetically this two tier metal snack stand is very nice and pleasant to look at. But while it technically is metal, you can knock on it and hear a metal ding. It’s very light and feels almost like it’s made of plastic when taking it out of the packaging, there is a very strange smell to it and I’m not sure what exactly is causing that if it’s just the packaging or if it’s the coating on the metal itself hopefully it will dissipate after a few washes or letting it sit out, but it’s a very unpleasant smell.

You can use it daily for fruit and vegetable storage on your counter or table but you could also use it when hosting for small sandwiches or treats, there are endless options. Anywhere from fruit to desserts to a charcuterie tray, this tray can function as display item as well as a serving pieces. It is beautiful, well made, and pretty solid. My only complaint is that I felt it is a little bit expensive compared to other tiered trays I have seen for sale. Maybe because it is such a heavy metal. In any case, it is a good quality and a nice piece. It looked beautiful as a fruit platter and as a dessert station at my brunch. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

When I receive the order, the quality didn’t seem as nice as I had hoped. It seems like the silver will peel off. It also is not heavy and weight, which I was expecting it to be. I like this pewter finish, because it is something you don’t see all of the time. But I will be returning this one.

The scalloped design gives it a unique feel. This has ample amount of room for fruits & vegetables or would look great to hold kitchen items like little salt shakers etc. The only thing I’m not sure about is how long this item would last until it starts rusting or flaking since it’s made of aluminum material. I would definitely follow the directions where it states to spot clean. Overall, this would look really great in your kitchen if you are thinking of changing the look.

I was so excited when I saw this, size and shape perfect. But the quality is terrible. Very expensive but weighs nothing and the finish was completely flaking off.
