Method Super Shine Liquid Dish Soap Powered By Enzymes Coastal Citrus - Refill - 48 fl oz

I chose this scent because I thought the others would smell like laundry, which is not what I’m going for in my kitchen. I chose wrong. The foul odor of this — only discovered as I was filling my bottle at home — says zero citrus and all barf. I can’t even describe how awful it is. Will be returning.

I've used Method Lavender all-purpose and the Mint Glass cleaning sprays for years and still do. The are safe around pets and not tested on animals.The scents are mild, natural, and do not affect my chemical sensitivity BUT, I ordered Method Coastal Citrus dish soap for online drive up, so I didn't have the advantage of sniffing it first. YIKES! It has that fake ocean breeze perfum-ey smell along with mild Citrus. It smells more like it was made by (Mrs. Meyers) brand, which really irritates my allergy-related asthma. Normally, I would've chosen Grove Co Lemon or Lavender dish soap, or Clean Cult Lemon, which are very natural scents that don't aggravate my allergies...but they weren't available. If you like that fake ocean scents, you'll love this, but if you have perfume scent sensitivity, do not pick this. I do highly recommend the others mentioned as alternatives!

I use to be a only "dawn" dish soap but method stepped up . it cuts through the grease pretty great, and its not that artificial blue color. I also love how it comes with a refillable size and the scent is natural and fresh.

It cleans the same, but the odor of this new scent is absolutely putrid and unpleasant. I am constantly thinking my drain is the culprit, but it's the soap, it smells faintly like a wastewater plant. I will not buy this one ever again. I wish they would bring back the Clementine.

Smells like men’s cologne and gives me a headache. It doesn’t smell like citrus at all. I’ve been a fan of Method lime and clementine dish soap for years, so this was a huge disappointment.

Usually ove the method dish soap, but this scent is horrible. Smells like men's cologne. And not just while washing, but lingers on clean, dry dishes. Not sure if it's also in part to the new formula or what. Will not buy this kind again.

If, like me, you've loved the clementine dish soap they've discontinued, don't think this is a good replacement. The scent is absolutely foul & makes my stomach churn. I have no idea if it cleans well because I can't even be in the same room with it.

Method really did a great job with this soap. The smell is wonderful. It's like a perfume type of smell but not overdone and does not transfer to dishes. Suds up nicely and rinses clean. It does a great job on grease as well.

I thought the citrus might be a nice light energizing scent while washing, but it’s immediately headache inducing.

While washing dishes today I couldn’t figure out why I kept smelling Axe Body Spray and suddenly realized it was my new dish soap. Target, why would I want dish soap that smells like the men I’ve spent my life avoiding?!

Another Method product that works amazingly well and has a wonderful sent.

The smell transferred to plastic and wooden items.

This dish soap is great for the long lasting effect. I love this brand. however it has a strong floral sent I am missing the citrus.

A little goes a long way! Literally makes your dishes squeaky shiny clean! Definitely will be purchasing again!

This soap works great. Unfortunately the Coastal Citrus smell is repulsive, unless you like the smell of axe body spray.

METHOD just ruined a great product. This is thinner, suds less, and the bottle is flimsy with NO PUMP, which makes it difficult to handle when actually doing dishes! Which genius made these changes??? Yes, the scent is fine but I buy Method specifically because it loosens grease and gunk easily, it removes odors in dish sponges and on dishes, and a little goes a long way. I’ve been buying for over 12 years and I feel Completely betrayed!! I’m now trying to buy up as many bottles of the old formulation as I can find. This rebrand is the Cracker Barrel of dish soaps. Terrible!
