Mezcla's plant-based prot

I get very skeptical with

While I generally am not a protein bar person, I really liked this one. It has an edible texture with plenty of flavor options. I love chocolate, so The added coating underneath makes it feel more like a treat.

Tad too much cinnamon.
Normally I'd give these 5 stars, but the new late twist to them gives them a slightly overpowering cinnamon taste that overpowers the peanutbutter, if you tweak the recipe a bit I'm sure ot could easily fix that!

My family and I absolutely love these bars. My grand daughters and my favorite are the Peruvian cocoa peanut butter with chocolate chips it's the perfect amount of everything. Not too sweet …… just perfection.

Be transparent with your customers.
The bars are great but I don't like that the website only says "we dedicate a portion of sales from every Mezcla flavor to The Hunger Project". Companies that just say "we donate to charity" and never specify how much are so shady. Is it 1% of each purchase? 5%? You should put the amount donated per bar even if it's low, because it's better than nothing. Especially since Mezcla is a smaller company, it's understandable if you can't donate a huge portion of every purchase. Making "feeling good" about donating to a good cause such a huge part of your brand then not giving any numbers about how much is being donated is extremely manipulative. I would rather see that 1¢ is donated per bar than not see any numbers at all.

I like the flavor options
