If you’re getting this because you are nostalgic and want the barbosal can forget it doesn’t come with it maybe one of them does but it’s not as advertised. It’s a cool thrill and activity for about a few minutes and then after that not much to it 🤷🏻♀️

The liquid in my Indoraptor did not react and remained very dark. I figured out how to fix it. Add water. The original fluid was rather concentrated so I ended up using quite a bit of water. No separation in color/liquids so far and complete control on the color while fixing. I did a bit of experimenting with small amounts to make sure I wouldn’t ruin anything while figuring this out. I used an old cup that came with a bottle of Delsym cough syrup. I would suggest filling it at least half way with water then use the provided dropper to take the fluid out of the container and add it slowly to the water to change it to the color you want. The glitter also gets a bit diluted but I had extra after initially adding 3 spoonfuls. Warning, take it slow with the glitter. I put in a small amount in the new lighter liquid and it went a long way. It looks really good now. It’s a nice teal color. It’s a little more saturated in person. I chose to keep it a bit light for good visibility but adding more of the original liquid will slowly make it closer to the original. It will slowly change from teal to purple. This is reversible if you mess up. I would rate this 5 stars if this was not a problem.

Waste of money. The Dino is in the egg but very boring I wish it could come out of the egg and it’s liquid stays purple it was a waste of time and money

Make sure to read the directions in the folded white paper that says read first! It explains the steps better than just the picture instructions. We also rad reviews here first and saw people say to use a small amount of the powder. That helped so much! Small amount of powder, add liquid, shake, then let it sit for at least 5 minutes before gently breaking the shell. We could see the dinosaur but my 8 year old still removed some liquid before settling it in the "incubator". It definitely wouldn't be very visible if you use too much powder so best to go with one small scoop or less!

For $14, I was expecting this to be better quality. The insert to display the egg inside of the incubator does not snap in or sit at the bottom of the ball properly, leaving it lopsided unless something is put underneath to hold it up. The egg with the embrio itself looks cheap, and no matter how many times we emptied and refilled the liquid/tried to mix it, we could not get rid of the air bubbles. Then the lid to the incubator is not clear plastic, so the embrio in the egg cannot be seen unless the lid is left open. Overall, we were left disappointed, expecting better quality for the price.

Followed instructions and it did not mix well at all inside, said it would settle and did not. Not to mention when screwing the cap back on it broke something inside the egg that is now stuck and caused a leak when the instructions said to screw it tight.

I love how detailed everything is. Instructions are easy to understand if you take the time to read both inserts. For better color change, add a small amount (about 1 pipette) of vinegar. Go easy with the dry DNA (mica powder). Also love that there is no resin!! So you do not need any additional tools etc.

Purchased this for my son in anticipation to see the movie. It was really fun to connect all the components and he loved the details. Lots of reviews complained about not being able to see the dinosaur (we got mosasaurus) but if you give it some time to “incubate,” you’ll be able to see it perfectly. So my suggestion for best results is to have some patience and enjoy the experience!

It is not worth the price. Instructions had us mix a powder and a liquid into a dino chamber and that was it. Nothing happened or changed. I expected more for the price. Very disappointed. I was able to see the dinosaur before adding more liquid or the shimmering powder. Don't waste your money!
