Great Dehumidifier for a Great Price!
I've had other portable dehumidifiers that had a more conventional design. They were okay but I'm not so sure as efficient as the Media cube style unit. It works as advertised and draws the indoor humidity down fairly quickly. I like that it has both continuous drainage and bucket-less modes. I've only used it for about a month and am pleased so far. Just put it away today for the season but it will be back out come May, 2026 here in Central Kentucky!

Well thought out design.
I purchased two 20 pt cube dehumidifiers for my basement family room and laundry room. Very pleased with the quality of the unit and ease of operation. I like the idea of the pull- out screen filter - easy to clean and keeps the cooling coils clean - someone thought of a good idea! Also the unit is built well - nothing flimsy. Rare to see these days. Midea quality was a major factor in my decision to purchase a second cube dehumidifier and a window AC unit for my shop.

Do not buy it!
I bought this 5 days ago and installed it in my basement and the humidity sensor was defective. You indicated that the humidity was only 30% when I bought it because the humidity is over 50%. I complained to Midea and they admitted that they’re getting many customer complaints about the unit. Do not buy it.

Nice machine
Works great, keeps the humidity at the desired level and it’s easy to empty. If it were just a bit quieter it would be 100% perfect. I’ve never had a dehumidifier, so cannot compare the noise level to other models, but it’s about the same level as a quiet purifier or a small fan. Not bad.

What a difference this makes !!
I wanted a dehumidifier that was easy to set up and use and one the reduced to temperature and humidity in the house. This product fits the bill. Last year I only had an air conditioner and it felt like it was not enough to make it a pleasant air environment. I have had this only for a few months and what a difference this has made. It is easier to breath and the temperature is tolerable on a hot day. It is so good that I can turn off the AC and leave this uniot on and the air is still comfortable .... Now as far as usage goes it is so easy to use with the panel and even more with the app. I am not using the app and find it easy to set it and leave it. You can even set how much the bucket will fill before it will shut off. The wheels makes it easy to move around. Overall, this is a great product !

Home was so humid, now air is crisp!
The house has been fighting humidity for months. My AC finally feels crisp and cool. Within a couple days, the air was completely different in the house. It has been incredible!

works well but be ready when the warranty expires
Brilliant design and decent features. Worked great for about a year. About 3 months after the warranty expired, it began making water-dripping noises while the unit was not operating. When lifting the unit to drain the bucket, water will drain and drip from the bottom surface of the dehumidifier. No idea or suggestions offered on how to fix the problem. The unit still works fine, but the dripping noise and water draining out of the bottom surface every time I lift it out to empty the bucket is maddening.

Good performance
Great purchase. Easy setup and performs better than expected. Dropped humidity in unfinished basement from 68% to 45% within 24 hours.

Great product with all of the features
I bought two of these about 18 months ago and they are great. Everything about the design and layout is well thought out and implemented. I cannot think of anything that I would want to change. These units are 100% reliable, quiet, and energy efficient. I have some critical storage needs in my basement and they hold it at my desired 40% RH. I use the condensate pump feature, the WiFi connection, and the phone app that allows me to control and verify system operation from anywhere. I highly recommend this product and would consider other Midea products based on my experience with two of these dehumidifiers.

Blows Out Too Much Hot Air
As another reviewer noted, this dehumidifier blows out hot air. This makes it mostly useless because it's needed during the seasons with the most humidity - when it's warm. It works about as well as a space heater in a medium sized room and even raised the temperature in a mid-sized basement room.

Keeps freezing up
Removes humidity OK, but after running for a few hours, the coils freeze. Ice forms on the outside and it starts making popping noises.

Bucket overflows when full and app can't detect fill level.
Great at removing moisture from the air. Seems to be more effective than any other dehumidifier I have used. However, in the two weeks I have used it, the bucket has overflowed twice and the unit continues to run. Yes, the unit is set to bucket mode. Also, the app does not display bucket fill level so I have to think whatever sensor detects fill level is defective. The mechanism for detecting fill level isn't obvious like most other models with a tilt switch. So 5 stars for dehumidifying, and 1 for overflowing puddle of a mess = 2 stars.
