works great even for straight hair!
i absolutely love this hair mask! i pair it with the matching shampoo and regularly use it in the shower. i recently bleached my hair blonde and i had noticed that my hair was drier than normal and my hair was hard to detangle and just overall not doing well so i tried this out again after using it before and it makes my hair feel so soft.

Never Again
I’m sorry Mielle, but this one made my hair sooooo tangled. I even have a QiQi Smoothing treatment that is only one month old. This made my hair sooooo tangled hard to detangle and I lost entirely too much hair in one use. I will be throwing this away.

Mielle made lost my hair
Unfortunately Mielle is not everybody. After using the cream my hair start falling out. I lost a lot of hair 😞

DRY!!!
This ruined my hair in just one use. Made my hair more dry than it’s ever been. It felt like straw and looked frayed and damaged. Also caused extensive breakage on the top layer of my hair as I slept from the severe lack of moisture. Also made my scalp feel tight and itchy. For a product that requires you to leave it on for 15-20 mins to be this drying is insane. Especially when many other masks work fine in 5 mins or less. So disappointed. I’m hoping I can restore my hair’s moisture but the breakage will take months to grow out 😢

Made my hair loss worse
I have about 3 weeks using this and use it once or twice a week. You do feel your hair softer but I wouldn’t recommend it. The first time I used it I did it ends only and I saw more hair loss in the shower, I did however buy a new shampoo as well so I didn’t know which one caused it. The second time I did it roots to ends and again alot of hair fall. I use shampoo only and the hair loss is less so it has to be the mask. I also noticed my scalp was so itchy after my hair dried. I specifically bought this because my edges are balding and i think it’s made my hair loss worse!!

Hair loss
I tried this product in me and my daughter’s hair. And both of our hair got matted. I also experienced clumps of hair loss when in the shower. The hair loss stopped immediately after using the Mielle products. But now I am left with my hair thin as a result.

Works for all hair types!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will tell you that other brands don’t typically work but this one really softened my hair and did its thing. I have loose waves in my hair and my mom has pin straight hair, and I will say that the results were just as good on her hair, so if you have straight hair, don’t shy away from this product! I use this mask every week, or every other time I wash my hair and for me I find that to bring the best results. I pair this with the rosemary oil from the same brand and the results are PERFECT! This is now a staple in my hair care routine!!! I also love the scent of this product, it reminds me of a fancy hotel! Overall I really like this product and would recommend it!

Great mask with a calming smell
I have been using this product every week to every other week since the beginning of December 2024 and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my hair. My breakage was so bad that I could gently pull at my hair and a lot of strands would come out. After a few months, I no longer have this issue and the length retention is amazing. People have commented on how long my hair is getting. I have low porosity 4b/c hair for reference. I look forward to wash days!

I however did not like how my hair felt after use , I have very fine hair and it felt weighed down. Large container though. Not sure I would purchase this product in the future. May work better for others , just not for my fine hair.

Smells great, wish it worked better

It felt great when it was on my hair, but I don't think that it really penetrated like it should have. I need to keep trying it to see if that was a one off, but I kind of don't want to try it again.
