Defective. Does not assemble correctly or well. By the time I was able to screw in the lamp, it was still off kilter and I couldn’t screw it in without denting the lamp with my grip.

Product design is defective. Legs do not screw in neatly. The part that holds the light bulb keeps falling out and is made of thin plastic. Had to throw lamp away after assembling.

Beautiful - screws don't align. They're plastic so maybe there's a way to squeeze them in, but 10 minute of trying didn't get there.

I am so impressed with this floor lamp! It looks absolutely beautiful and honestly appears way more expensive than the actual price. The design is sleek, elegant, and adds such a classy touch to the room. Assembly was super easy. For anyone saying it’s difficult, the trick is simple: push and turn that’s it. Once you do that, everything comes together perfectly. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this lamp. Great quality, gorgeous look, and unbeatable value. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful but the reviews are right. This is so hard to assemble. At first I tried to follow the instructions but then noticed some of the plastic fittings were wonky and that’s why it was so hard to screw on. Make sure you have a rubber mallet and level. Check each piece with a level and adjust with a mallet. Push the pieces down hard when attaching and as long as you push for the first few spins, you should be good. Hated every part of the assembly, but worth it.

Absolutely impossible to put together. I figured the reviews must be wrong and surely it’s not that challenging… I was wrong. The reviews are right. I do not have the brute force or strength required to make this work. Back it goes!

This is a poorly made product. The pieces take manpower and then some to put together.

Listen.. I ALMOST got swayed by the reviews, but I was determined to make it work since I love the lamp. So of course thinking I am a capable builder went against the review advice. Totally regretted it the first 30 minutes. Then once I started pushing together (extremely hard) and screwing, it worked. The screwed pieces are plastic, so perhaps they morph? No idea. However I love the finished product.

Parts do not line up, after trying 5 times I accepted that it was the product and not me. So now I have a lamp that leans heavily to the left. If I didn’t have to take it all apart I would return it.

I wish I could give this ONE star because it can't be put together! How easy to screw together the three sections that make up the pole of the lamp... unless the threads don't match up for ANY of them! Waste of money and now a waste of time while I'm on hold with Target to get my money back. Terribly made. Don't do it!

Returning this item. It was a hassle to assemble. Also, it looks like I received a lamp that someone had previously used as it was dirty and scratched.

Insultingly low quality. Extremely challenging to assemble. I bought 2 and that was the only way I figured out that one was manufactured incorrectly and impossible to assemble. In the images I’ve uploaded, one lamp has a wire fed through the side of the metal cylinder, allowing you to screw on the post that the lampshade finial attaches to. The other image shows the wire fed through the top of the cylinder, making it impossible to attach the lampshade. The correctly manufactured one was extremely difficult to screw together, but at least it was possible. If target sells you a defective lamp, the only recourse they offer is “disassemble it, repackage it, and return it”. Outrageous. No penalty to them for pushing quality control down to the consumer level. I hadn’t shopped at target for 6 months before this. Now I’m realizing maybe I should just never shop at target

This is exactly what I was looking for without spending $700. Worth it!!!

It feels heavy and stable, so I’m not worried about it tipping over. The light adds a cozy ambiance to my home.

I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this lamp. This is easily one of the worst Threshold items I’ve purchased. During assembly, I discovered that none of the three connecting poles aligned properly — all of them were bent, making it nearly impossible to screw the sections together. The lamp shade is also very flimsy and due to a manufacturing defect, it never would have screwed into the actual lamp pole. The finish looks cheap and poorly made, too. Overall, the entire product feels low-quality and not up to the standards I expect from this brand.

This lamp was a bit of a hassle to assemble as the pieces that were supposed to screw together were flush with the metal And needed to be pried up in order to be able to thread them. The finish piece reminds me a lot of of an outdoor heater upside is the top allows for it to shield the light fixture from the elements. I plan to use this in our patio as I think it looks like it goes there aesthetically as an indoor lamp. I’m not a huge fan. Part of my issue is the edge of the shaded area is pretty sharp and the lamp itself is fairly heavy. The upside is the base is well weighted, and it has a unique look that kind of fits a Gatsby era motif.
