Not sure if anyone else experienced this with their recent batch but I received mixed chocolate morsels. Instead of just milk chocolate, the bag contains mostly semi sweet/dark chocolate. The chocolate chips were different colors and very obviously different sweetness/bitterness.

I LOVE the majority of target brand items for baked goods. Their chocolate is pretty decent compared to some of the pricier brands. For larger batches of baking, I prefer target brand for the quality I get for the significant price difference. Most recently I used these in a cookie recipe and a chocolate chip pumpkin bread.

My review can be summed up very simply: these are, hands-down, the best chocolate chips I have ever tasted and I have tried every brand out there. The texture is perfect as they are a bit soft. The taste is out of this world. Target, please do mot EVER discontinue these chips.

Bought them on a whim and now I’m addicted! I have not used them for baking, so not sure how they are in/on items, but it is great by itself as a little sweet treat. They are so creamy and melt in your mouth. My boyfriend doesn’t care for milk chocolate, and he even thinks they are amazing. Definitely worth a try for $2 and change

This is a great product. I bought it to make chocolate covered strawberries. It melted nicely. I followed the instructions on the back, and the taste is great. Will definitely be purchasing again for all of my baking needs.

So I was trying to make “Christmas Crack” this year. I needed chocolate for melting to spread over the top of the “Crack”. I tried melting these in the microwave ands on the stove top and all I got was a frosting like paste. I’ve used these plenty of times before in cookies but definitely will not use again for anything that requires melting.
