Q: Is the texture of these soft or crunchy? Also, as another reviewer mentioned elsewhere, why is there garlic powder added when garlic is highly toxic to dogs?

A: A trace amount is used to improve the aroma and flavor. We use very low levels of garlic and at these levels, the products comply with FDA requirements and there is no food safety concern for pets.

These treats cause vomiting
I bought this a few days ago and they are making my dog terribly sick and uncomfortable. We tried one at first and he vomited within 2 minutes, not only the treat but all of his food from the day. Later on we tried again, same outcome. We waited a full 48 hours before giving him another one and our poor baby suffered from the same thing. These treats are inducing vomiting in our pets. Upon looking at the ingredients and doing my reasearch, these treats are packed with terrible ingredients for dogs. Guar gum — causes digestive issues, bloating, gas and diarrhea, among other things. Caramel color—when produced with ammonium creates carcinogenic contaminants, as well as acrylamide— a toxic by product… it’s also typically made from corn syrup, adding EXTRA sugar to my pups diet.. which is totally unnecessary when sugar is already an ingredient in these. Soy flour and soy protein ? Not the best option. There are way too many questionable ingredients in this product, and for what? They’re marketed as if they are a healthy option for our pets, while in reality they are farrrrr from it. I’m not the only reviewer who’s claimed that these treats have made their dog vomit. I think you may have a recall on your hands, because these treats are TERRIBLE.

Smells bad
I just bought this today. Opened gave my dog one and am hoping he doesnt get sick. After I gave it to him I went to close the bag and it smelled aweful!! I was going to throw it away but waiting to see if he has any issues first.

Simply chicken jerky
My dog is a very fussy eater. The simply chicken jerky is her favorite treat. After turning her nose up and giving me dirty looks she’ll finally eat chicken jerky recipe. Please bring simply chicken back. Our other dog prefers the jerky recipe however. I checked with my friends who have dogs and none of them realized there were 2 different kinds of jerky. Maybe a name change will help sales.

The old strips were the only jerky that didnt upset my dogs tummy.. he loved them and does not like your replacement jerky recipe

Funny, I'm reading all the angry reviews of you discontinuing the Simply Chicken Jerky. I stocked up a while ago for the same reason, my dog will not eat the other treats. I was hoping to buy a half dozen but I'm finding there are no more on line. What a shame, maybe I'll be able to find a replacement.

This is not an acceptable substitute for Milo's Simply Chicken with 3 ingredients.
Milo's Simply Chicken Jerky strips are my dog's favorite treat. Then chicken jerky recipe is not the same. Way too many ingredients. Most of all... my dog WON'T EAT IT Bring back the simply chicken recipe!!!
