Description

Give your kids endless hours of engineering fun with the Mindware Marble Run game. This engineering game gets the fun rolling, literally. The kids can build tracks that twist and turn with colorful pieces that simply slide together. They can test their design by sending marbles through chutes, merry-go-rounds, windmills, S-curves, a U-turn slide and centrifugal funnel, then make adjustments to send it off again. Customers can follow the images on the box to build or create your Marble Run.

Q: How sturdy is this set? Will it fall apart if a child accidentally bumps it?

submitted by Lori - 12 days ago
  • A: MindWare Marble Run pieces are carefully designed to fit together with tight connections which aids in making a sturdy build. Sturdiness also comes from how you build each run. Building a wide base with multiple support columns will ensure the structure remains strong during continuous play.

Just bought this for our 3 year old and my husband and I have been trying to put this thing together forever now and it just keeps falling apart lol super frustrating for parents of toddlers who just want to play. Not sure why it doesn’t stay together. Thinking about glueing the dumb thing. If you have patience I’d buy it but it definitely triggers some anger management lol

Does not stand up on its own very well. No matter how flat the surface you will still have to hold it so it doesn’t tip over.

Marble Run

3 out of 5 stars
Nicole - 8 months ago, Verified purchaser
Always a fun toy but compared to the old one I had as a kid the “male” pieces that help them stick together and connect are too short making it very fragile and frustrating to build. An adult has to be there holding the tower the whole time or it will fall over. They are maybe only 1/4” and need to be at least double that I’d say to give it some more stability.

Very flimsy

I bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. I bought this when it went on sale on Black Friday and it was half price. I DID read all the bad reviews but I figured for it being HALF OFF the original price I would give it a try. This was his FAVORITE gift against the other gifts I purchased for him. He was so upset when I had to return it. The reviews are very accurate with this toy. I had to keep building this toy for him every 5 minutes. VERY FRUSTRATING. With just the smallest amount of pressure the whole thing comes tumbling down. It is not stable when assembled. Also, their was no instructions or building ideas included in the package so we had to keep referring to the outside of the box for building. It is very appealing and very cute BUT save your money and invest it into another set that keeps you and your child entertained.

Great colors and fun….when it’s not falling apart. The pieces constantly slide out from each other if you barely breathe on them. This would be a 5+ star toy if this didn’t happen every few minutes. It’s maddening for kids and parents!! Really disappointed as it was a Christmas gift from Santa and my son loves it when he can actually put the marbles in. For a $35 toy would expect much better.

Doesn't Stay Together. My 4 Year Old Daughter Is Great With Puzzles, Other Marble Runs, Legos Etc. This One Has Her In Tears Everytime She Plays With It Because It Doesn't Stay Connected. As Soon As You Go To Attach Another Piece, The Whole Structure Comes Down

Too expensive for a toy that breaks apart as soon as u touch it. My son cannot enjoy playing with it because each time he has to build it over and over. Garbage marble run. Such a waste of money.
