Perfect for adults too!
I’m in college right now, living with my parents due to budgetary reasons, and my lamp decided to die on me. This was a pretty fun and better replacement. It was as pictured, it was for my sons room and he loved it! The only issue I had was that my packaged looked like it was opened, I thought someone stole something in it at first. The packaging isn’t the best. There was also a scuff on it but nothing crazy.

Why is the price different online?
I bought this for my nephew for his birthday and it’s fine, it had some scratches on it and seemed like all of them did. I initially ordered it online and picked it up, $52 originally on sale for $41, and then ended up stopping into the store a few days later. The in store price was different, originally $39.99 on sale for $31. A little baffled on the reason for there being a price difference, especially considering it’s not a super high quality lamp. Garbage
My son was given this lamp for Christmas from his grandmother who passed away right after she bought it. He plugged it in and it wouldn’t work. We changed bulbs, changed outlets, etc. and still wouldn’t work. I purchased another lamp and when it arrived it too wouldn’t work. We did get the bulb to flash by pulling the creeper chain and holding it down. Huge fire risk! So that’s 2 lamps and both broken. I returned the one I bought. But my son won’t let me try to return the 1st broken lamp because it’s from his now deceased grandmother. So he has a broken lamp sitting on his shelf. Pretty sad.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it’s a nice design but cheaply made and honestly poor quality. I didn’t even get a chance to wrap it for Christmas and it’s already falling apart. The light also doesn’t work. Literally first time testing it and nothing. It’s completely out of stock in stores and if I purchase it online it’ll be $20 more than what I paid in store. What a way to spoil my plans for a Minecraft themed teenagers bedroom. Please work on making this better quality!
