Q: RIDICULOUS! The label says "requires 25 watt maximum type B bulb or equilavent"! So we bought 25w Type B10 bulbs...NOT EQUILAVENT apparently...the base was HUGE! So WHAT bulb?! Link it to me!

Q: Can the shade be removed and replaced with a different shade?
A: Hi, GXD - Thanks for asking! We do not recommend altering the product in any way as we can no longer guarantee the quality. However, yes, almost any lamp can have the shade replaced if the correct replacement can be found! This lamp has a threaded uno shade attachment, meaning most shades will work. The difficulty will be finding one that works with an E12 size lamp socket. Because the scale of this lamp is smaller, the socket and shade are smaller. Any new shade should fit over an E12 socket.
