Sheds glitter everywhere
Love it for my 2 foot mini tree in my bedroom. The battery pack rests at the bottom of my tree. Just don't look too closely at the star because the glitter isn't even and there are some gaps. Definitely don't get if you don't want to deal with glitter everywhere. I got it on sale for $3.60 at the beginning of December.

Let there be light?!?
I was so excited to have a lighted tree topper for my 2 1/2 foot tree! I put in 2 AAA batteries and flipped the switch...nothing! I opened a new pack of batteries in case that was the issue and still UT did not light up. Very disappointing, because otherwise it would have been perfect.

Glittery mess
I would not recommend buying this. 1, the lighting element wires take up a lot of space within the internal cone, making it a VERY tight fit for the top of smaller trees. In the couple minutes it took to fit it to the top of our small tree, a lot of the glitter had fallen off and left behind the translucent plastic underneath. Not to mention the plastic ended up cracking and splitting after placing the product on the tree. I have a very small, Charlie Brown-esque skinny tree, so I didn’t think we would have any problems using this topper, and was excited to find a small one in store, but I would just save your time and opt for a bow on the top of the tree instead of buying this.

Battery Pack is too Heavy
Battery pack is heavy and weighs down the topper. I like the idea of it lighting up but since it’s a small item, meant for a small tree, the weight of the battery pack is too much and pulls down on the tree.

Be careful!!
Likes: it’s cute Dislikes: the light wasn’t even powered on and it blew up and sounded like a balloon popped?! The battery backing came off and broke! We have now taken the batteries out and cut the cable, now using it as a normal standard star!
