A: Thank you for your interest in this product. Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. Step 2: Pull the bulb and plastic base straight out of bulb holder. Step 3: Replace lamp with only 12 Volt, 0.96 Watt, Super Bright type spare lamps (provided with product). The gold is pretty, but this star is only one sided. The back side is just a mustard yellow color. And it doesn't look great on a high tree because there are visible holes in the top of the star. I would recommend a similar star from World Market which has 2 sides.

Be warned this star is not the same star it used to be. This is half a star, the front of the star is there and the back is flat matte gray plastic. Everything is cheapened every year, how disappointing.

I bought another one of these this year and it’s completely different than the one I bought a couple years ago. The original one I have, the star looks the same on the front and back, so if your tree is visible from all angles, the star would still look great. Even if the tree was placed in a corner, the back side of the star would cast a beautiful light on the wall. But now this new design, the back is a flat piece of plastic. So now you can only enjoy this star if you’re looking directly at it. Poor design to what was already perfect. Other than that, I absolutely love the look of this star. I bought another just in case something happened to mine. Can’t beat the price either

Pretty but the back of the star is an ugly piece of flat plastic; the decorated design is only on the front. This wasn’t clear to me when I bought it. Since my tree is visible from 3 of the 4 “sides,” I returned it.

It’s cute and it didn’t bother me that it was flat on the back since it’s going against a wall but it’s HEAVY! Way too heavy for an artificial tree to hold it up. It literally tips right over. Going to be returning it.

It's a pretty star. I don't like that the back is flat and plain but pending how you have your tree set up, it's not necessarily a huge deal. My problem is one of the bulbs burned out within 24hrs and it came with no replacements. Also, the lights would flicker when adjusting the cable. Seems cheaply made. Better off spending a few extra bucks on something different.

This star is very beautiful. It is a good size for my tree. The gold color goes well with the other ornaments. It's easy to use. My only issue is that the piece breaks easily and I had to repair it.

Wish I'd read prior reviews. In the in-store display and in the packaging, it is not apparent that this item only has one good side. Not sure how anyone can put it on a tree without being able to see the cheap flat back. It's too bad because the front is pretty. Returned.
