I read reviews saying these filters leaked, but I successfully put two in up to now. Now the third one is in, and there’s water all over the kitchen floor and inside the refrigerator and freezer. We’re using every towel we have. I put the old one back and no problem. Called Samsung. They won’t do anything, including send a free replacement, so it’s $40 down the drain (I only wish it were down the drain). Will not buy Samsung appliances in the future. I only wish we’d seen the reviews befor purchase.

Overall nice refrigerator so far, but I'm docking a start because of the extremely poor online instructions for changing the water filter... it is completely wrong and almost resulted in the flooding of our kitchen. Come on guys, no excuses. I've read a whole bunch of other reviews with the same complaint that almost ended in disaster. The video is wrong in three ways; 1) It is a quarter turn, not a 180 degree turn 2) It goes in with the arrows sideways, not up and down, and 3) It gives the appearance the it doesn't matter whether the LOCK embossing is right side up or down... well it matters 100%, they just don't tell you that. Very poor in that department. Other than that, I really like the fridge.

The Mist replacement water filter for my Samsung refrigerator is of good quality and good value. The filter comes nicely packaged and it comes with labels to place them as a reminder when it needs to be changed again. The refrigerator does remind me when to change the filter, but it is nice to have another reminder. The water pressure is good with the filter, good flow. It is easy to replace, just screw off the old one and screw this filter onto place, after than run water so it gets rid of any debris, and it is ready to use. I will buy again.

If you turn the water off going to the ice maker it takes the pressure off the line and it makes it so much easier to change the filter

This filter works well in my fridge. It was easy to install and did not run into any issues. I have not seen the filter leak or cause any error lights to display on the fridge. I am happy with this one and will get more when the time comes to change it again.
