This filter IS NOT compatible with model EDR1RXD1. The description is wrong. Target search results shows this filter first followed by the actual EDR1RXD1 filter asking “would this work instead.” No - it does not !

Clean water that lasts and lasts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had great success with Mist Pur Filters for our refridgerator. Not only do we get clear clean water and ice with this filter, it lasts and lasts. FOr us it typically last longer than expected and longer than they period they market it. It is easy to change when it comes time to replace as well. When our fridge eventually dies having the ability to use a Mist Pur Filter will be part of our selection process.

I am very impressed with the quality of filtration that these provide. They are incredibly easy to install and remove which is a huge plus. I have never had any issues with these Mist brand filters. After following the instructions, my water was the best I've ever tasted. I never realized what I had been missing out on! Do yourself a favor and change your filter NOW!!! I am very particular about the type of water I consume so having my water filter is a must. There is a difference in how it taste according to the filter I use. The Mist was just what I needed.

I had the UKF8001 EDR4RXD1 pur water filter. I did not install myself. I payed someone to install and they completed it quickly. I was satisfied and happy it was done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product at the right time when my old filter was due for change. fits perfectly in my refrigerator. I am very particular about the filters, be it air filter or water filter. I have another brand filter but when I out this, I could actually taste the water differently. I live in Austin so the water here is not that hard so the filter doesn't have to work extra to purify the water. but when I put this it worked like a magic. I am now hooked to this filter and will never go back to any other filter. this is the way to go.

Perfect fit and taste

A taste test between tap and this filter proves this filter is doing exactly what it was meant for. Don't seena reason for me to continue buying the more expensive one every 3 or so months. Filter your water so its crystal clear!

I am not a water fan, but this filters it so well, it tastes better than bottled water and I increase my water intake! Its so easy to change too. I would purchase again and highly recommend!
