Beautiful knife set
I wish the knife block could grow with any other large knives we buy (smaller knives fit). But overall this came incredibly well packaged, with amazing knives. I'm very happy with this purchase. The handles feel comfortable in my hand, and everything is very well constructed.

So sharp you need stitches!
These are beautiful and very sharp. In face, I tried to put the plastic tip protector on the paring knife and it slipped and went half an inch into my hand! Three stitches later. Will be a memory for a lifetime, while I will have these for the rest of my life.

Best Knife Set!
These knives are not only beautiful, but they are still like new after seven years! They still cut like butter, and they are incredibly practical and hold up to every day use. Because I loved these so much I also bought the rocking knife! Could not say more good things about this knife set :)

Understatedly the set comes with kitchen shears which are incredibly useful for many kitchen tasks, especially the tougher ones that you wouldn’t want to do with such sharp Japanese knives. Their performance is like butter and they rest comfortably in hand. Would purchase again.

I am able to cut smoothly and easily through hard root vegetables like, carrots and potatoes. I can create very thin slices easily. They are perfect for slicing thin pieces of meat for making jerky. We process a lot of our on meat and they hold and edge very nicely. They are exceptional knives!!

Excellent product. Pricy but good. The shears annd sharpener are not miyabi brand and I believe the vendor should state that. Compared it with other brand name which says it is equivalent but is nowhere close to miyabi.

Amazing Knives for Home Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a lightweight Japanese knife that will hold an edge, give you paper thin slices, and make you feel like a professional chef in your own home, these are a great option. I own various knives from all of the Miyabi lines, and I decided to buy the block from this set due to my love for the handle style that works for big and small hands alike. I can't say enough great things about this set.
