Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The Chef's Knife blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip. Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A.     Great 13 kives, a Hone, Scissors & Block 16 pieces

    Great set and fits nice in the block with one slot left, which I filled with an optional Zwilling Pro 8-inch Carving Knife. All great quality knives. So nice to have a sharp Chef's Knife. It cuts so well into the side end of onions. Just slides through it. I Love it all. And the steak knives are uniquely shaped like a miniature version of the optional Pro 5.5-inch Flexible Boning Knife, which I also purchased but is not shown in the pictures. The 16 piece set includes 13 knives plus the Hone, Scissors and Block to make it a 16 piece set.

    Worth the price !

    My wife and I have been using a generic brand knife set for years and finally made the switch. We couldnt be any happier knives cut like butter and feel great in the hand 100% would recommend

    Great knives bad packaging

    I got these as a gift and they are great set. Very sharp! Would have been 5 stars, however the handles were dinged a bit out of the box. The dings do not hurt the functionality. Zwilling puts a lot of care and effort into making a quality product, just wish the same care and effort was put into the packaging.

    Great knives, just be aware

    The knives are excellent. However the pictures can be a bit misleading. There is no filet knife included as pictured. The description also states made in Germany, which all of the knives are, however the included sheers are not, (they are made in china). The knives that are uncluded are of excellent quality and i enjoy them. I just wish the filet knife pictures was included and i had a pair of higher quality sheers or at least had that mentioned in the description.
