Receiver Defective
Having a similar issue with the ceiling fan as experienced by a previous reviewer. The receiver is defective. Contacted customer service at Modern Forms and hopefully will receive a replacement receiver.

Beautiful outdoor fan
I love the new fan on my outdoor patio. The light is terrific for nighttime entertaining. the blades create a soft and lovely breeze. It also looks modern and very sharp. It is rated as a "wet" fan which is perfect. I highly recommend this fan!

Covered Patio (Outdoor) Fan
We love this fan for our covered patio. The warm light and controls give us a lot of flexibility. The remote is simple. While the app took a few beats to set-up, it’s simple to use now configured. I like that we can control the direction of the fan to cool down summer days or heat up cool evenings when we turn on the heaters.

Great fan, good service
Love the fan. Easy to install, clear instructions, easy to set up. Really modernized the room from an old Hunter fan. The app took a little while to figure out and it turns out the receiver needed to be replaced. Contacted customer service and after a lengthy hold time (~50 mins, the only reason it isn't a 5 star review) was able to get a replacement shipped out.

Love the modern look and smart features
This is a really nice smart fan. The overall design and functionality are great. It also comes with a wall switch that you can control the fan and light. Setting up the smart feature was a bit painful though. After installing the app from google play store, had a hard time connecting to my wifi, but after several attempts, got it to work.

Perfect fan for our patio! We bought two.
Perfect flush mount fans for our patio. Limited with wet choices and these were going under an arbor. Lots of fan speeds, very efficient, light is beautiful and dims and you can hardly hear them! Actually cools the porch off better than expected. You get what you pay for it and this pair is a hit!

Modern Quality Fan
The physical quality and aesthetics are very good. Functionally the fan is quiet and the led light works well. Did have some initial connection issues via the app to make the fan work. The app would not add the fan. Took over a day and multiple attempts to get the connection to work. Would have given 5 stars if app connected as expected.

Installation Challenge
Excellent choice in a fan & light. We are extremely satisfied. Installation was a challenge. Instructions lacked information in installing the receiver, or how to reset the transmitter in the troubleshooting. While there was power to the receiver, the fan would not work. Had to call Modern Form for technical support and they were excellent in directing us. Fan worked immediately!
