Pretty & Gentle Glow Sound Machine
We have tried a few sound machines over the years but the Momcozy DreamSync Tech one has quickly become a favorite. Bedtime with the little ones can feel like a juggling act but this has made our night routine a lot smoother. The best part is the app control. Being able to adjust the volume or change the light settings directly from my phone without sneaking into the room and risking a creaky door wakeup is everything. If a little one is stirring I can handle it right from my phone. The soft rainbow light gives off a pretty, gentle glow which is wonderful for late night feeds. It gives you just enough light to see without waking everyone up. Plus the dimmable clock is a great touch for checking the time in the dark without a blinding glare. Just keep in mind that it is not wireless so you do need to plug it in near an outlet. It is a bit pricey when not on sale, but it easily replaces multiple gadgets on the nightstand. It feels well made and creates a calm space.

Sleeping with the rainbows
For the past week, we’ve been able to add a new addition to our bedroom: the Momcozy DreamSync Sound Machine. We’ve tried quite a few different sound machines over the years. Well…we have a new family favorite! This new machine came at a great time because my almost 3- year-old has been fighting naps with everything in her. I told her I got her something special for nap time (meaning Momcozy sent it to me to try), and after just one nap, she was genuinely excited for the next one. It has definitely made naps easier. For her, I think it’s the extra light in the room that gives her a sense of comfort. My daughter loves the changing rainbow colors, and I love the crackling fire light and sound. My daughter says, “I want to sleep with the rainbows,” in the absolute sweetest little voice; it feels magical in every kind of way.

Wow! I was IMPRESSED! This seriously is the easiest sound machine to use and the app is so simple and easy control. My kids are obsessed with it. I love how I can take from home or take in our camper and always still easy to re connect and have our routein night! Thank you so much for sending me and my babies one! The sound quality and the lights are decent. The app makes it fairly easy to use. If you are looking for a light that serves as a reminder when it’s ok to leave the room, this is not the device for you. You can set up an alarm but that has not worked since I purchased the device. For the last three nights the device also randomly turned on with a very bright light in the middle of the night and woke up my toddler. So much for sleep training. I reached out to Momcozy and the recommendation was to turn it off and turn on again. That didn’t work. I will be returning this device.

Cute and Customizable
The DreamSync paired up with the Momcozy app easily and the app provides seemingly endless options to really customize every aspect. There’s settings for sound type, volume, lighting type, brightness, some “themes” with coordinating sound and lights, and more. The different light options are great for flexibility throughout the night - most of the time I have it pretty dim to just provide a little light, but it’s easy to turn it up for middle of the night diaper changes so I don’t need to turn on a “real” light. Some things that set this apart from other machines were the ability to set a timer to automatically turn off, and it has real buttons on the machine! While some other sound machines give you one or two ways to use them without apps, the buttons allow for you to still customize a lot of the features with ease. In addition, it works as a speaker, and I’d say the quality is on par with most portable Bluetooth speakers. Huge thanks to Momcozy for selecting me as a tester!

Absolutely the best! Momcozy sent me this to read and I was a little skeptical but it is incredible! Baby was asleep within like 5 minutes of the lullabies. It has so many options for sounds and colors and the app connectivity makes it so easy to set timers and alarms and things. This is a nightly must in our home now!

Pleasant surprise
The app is super user friendly in regards to playing with the sound options and lighting options. There's even a "Campfire" option that automatically plays campfire sounds with thr light flickering like a fire. I've heard red lighting is good for sleep so usually have it on for night wakings/feedings so as to not mess with my son's melatonin levels. On the 1st photo, you can see what I used before which was a red bag over a night light; it worked but the Dreamsync is a pleasant upgrade.

Momcozy sent me the DreamSync Sound Machine to test & I have 3 of the original sound machines so to try out a newer version was super exciting for me. love the different color options especially the multicolor ones, The digital clock display is super convenient as well especially for quickly checking the time early in the morning & late at night. I will say the sound quality on it is quite a bit clearer than the older sound machines & Set up was also extremely easy. The only 2 cons I will say: 1. I wish there were more rain noise options, there’s only 2 on this vs the 4 options on the previous machine. 2. There have been 3 occasions over the last several days where the machine will randomly turn the volume all the way up to 100 on it’s own without anything touching it(Giving 4 stars for this reason as it could potentially wake little ones at night) Overall very happy with it though and will be a staple in my bedroom for baby #2 that will be joining in a few weeks!

The Momcozy DreamSync sound machine has honestly been such a great addition for our home. My kids love it, and I do too. It’s been helping my toddlers fall asleep quicker for some reason—I didn’t expect that, but it’s been a big win for bedtime. One of my favorite features is the Bluetooth option. We’ll sometimes play songs and have little “disco parties” with the lights, which makes it really fun for the kids. I also use it to play Danny Go and other nursery rhymes, and it’s actually helped cut down on screen time, which I really appreciate. Overall, it’s been both fun and useful for our daily routine, especially at night.

What a game changer!
Let me start by saying I have 2 beautiful boys. My oldest, 5 years old, has been rough around nighttime for a few months. He had both a sound machine and a light bar to help him "feel sleepy" and fall asleep which seldom worked. The FIRST night I used this, I let him customize the light to his choice and his favorite sound, left the room and within 10mins he was out. Same for night 2. Definitely would recommend and suggest adding this to your routine!!!

The sounds are BAD
The sounds are awful. The shushing sound is very abrupt and harsh. Why is it so fast? The deep breath is also really odd sounding. I don’t find any of the sounds particularly peaceful, even the ocean waves sounded harsh and more like white noise than a nature sound. The light component is cool, but I wanted to use this as a sound machine, and I find it pretty unusable unless I want to play music or nature sounds. The shushing sound is unusable. It also uses a button battery.

No matter what we do, in the middle of the night, this thing randomly turns on a super bright light and turns off the white noise and wakes the kids up. We have checked every setting and are pretty tech savvy. I have not been able to get it to stop. Additionally, this does not work like a traditional ok to wake clock, but instead is like an alarm clock. You cannot set a schedule, you can only set alarms. And the alarm options are very limited compared to general settings. So there is no way to get it to just turn on a light or change the color of light without also changing the sound from white noise.

Worst item ever - if it worked as it is intended, I would love it. It has a mind of it's own and once or twice a week turns on in the middle of the night which makes my toddler wake in a full panic. Outside the return window, but HATE this item. A shame it is so expensive. Momcozy support wanted "a video of it happening" which is impossible, so no help there either. Just buy a nest!

Nice but not great as an okay-to-wake clock
The DreamSync sound machine and light has lots of pros (lots of fun light and sound options without a subscription requirement!) but it leaves you wanting more. You cannot set the light to automatically turn on at a certain time except with the (limited functionality) alarm feature which makes it difficult to use this device as an okay-to-wake clock. For the alarm, you're limited to 8 sound options and you must have a sound set with an alarm, though you can set it to 1 (but not zero). And the light options for an alarm are also limited to 8 AND those 8 are all the solid colors- no cool effects like the "Wake-Up" option which you can choose if you turn the light on manually from the app. I will say that if you have the light set to a brightness higher than 1 (and 1 is already quite bright for a dark room) for the alarm, the light will gradually turn on 5 minutes before the alarm and become brighter until it reaches the set brightness at the set alarm time. But then the alarm is only on for 10 minutes, meaning if my child doesn't wake up in that window, she'll miss that the alarm/light was ever on. I do plan to keep the DreamSync but I do hope that the software development team adds more functionality to the device (either the ability to have the light automatically come on for selected periods of time or increased functionality for the alarm). Until then, I'd discourage anyone from buying this in hopes of using it as an okay-to-wake clock unless you're okay with it not being automatic.
