    Such a waste of money.

I LOVE the Nanit cameras. I’m having baby number 2 in 2 weeks. I thought this would be amazing but this product is miserableeee. It doesn’t stay connected to the internet, it doesn’t work half the time, it requires updates multiple times a week. It’s awful. I’ll just use my iPad.

    Monitor

We have had this for several months now. . we love it but it continually gives us a screen with a bunch of lines on it. I have to reset it several times for it to work normally.

    Nothing but Crashes and Bugs

This thing is absolute junk. It’s constantly crashing. We have two cameras and it will crash on the split screen and go back to the single view Home Screen. This was supposed to be a solution so we could have our sitters watch both our kids on one table but I should have bought a used iPad or something because this thing could barely run Pong. And now today it gave a critical error.

    Love love love!

We love our home display! First off- the size is everything, no need to worry about not seeing baby well because with the size of the screen and how clear the picture is, we can see it all. The ease of use is incredible and it truly is so simple and user friendly. We love being able to view baby without having to open our phones, while still getting amazing features! The ability to track and view activities too makes it easy to keep track of it all. We love our home display and regret not getting it sooner (we waited until our little one was a few months old before we decided to give it a try).

Doesn’t hold a charge. Constantly having to reboot after turning off otherwise it “isn’t connected to Internet” so disappointing

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the experience you’ve had with the Nanit Home Monitor. We understand how frustrating it is when you’re trying to quickly check on your baby and the live feed does not load as expected. Our team is aware of an issue where the monitor may continuously show the loading circle and not prompt to turn the camera on. This is a high priority for our team and while we work on a permanent fix, the current workaround is: Go to Settings → Nanit Home Settings → WiFi Networks Toggle WiFi off for 5 seconds, then turn it back on Return to the Live tab and the option to turn the camera back on should appear Regarding the updates, because Nanit Home is a newer product, we’ve been releasing frequent updates focused on adding features, improving performance, and increasing overall stability based on customer feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as it helps us continue improving the product.

    Would Buy Again!

The home display is great! I only wish it had been available as a bundle when I first ordered all of my Nanit gear. The home monitor allows us to keep an eye on baby during naps while freeing up our phones so we can do whatever else we need to do. It also means that any caretaker can monitor baby while we're away without needing to add them to the account. We keep it on our nightstand all night long for quick and easy checks throughout the night. Love it!

I love this item BUT it has to be plugged in all night because the battery life is horrible. It only lasts until about mid day when off the charger. Other than that, I love the screen size and it’s easy to use

    Terrible video

The video lags so much it's not worth it. just use your phone or better yet buy a tablet. If I could return it I still would. The battery is terrible also. Just save your money.

    DO NOT BUY

The live feed always has a “loading” circle and never gives the option to turn the camera on. I have never been able to turn the camera on from the monitor. I have to use the app on my phone to turn the camera on then can view the live feed from the monitor. It also has required several updates in 2 months that requires the monitor to be plugged in. This is not convenient when you have just laid your baby down to sleep and want to use the monitor. Save your money and buy a tablet and just download the app on the tablet. Not worth a single penny.

One of Our Most Used Baby Items

We’ve really loved the Nanit Display. The picture quality is great, it’s reliable, and I love being able to quickly check on my baby without needing my phone every second. I also love that I can now access the care logs directly from the display, which has been super helpful keeping everyone in the loop when my in-laws are watching the baby. One of my favorite things about Nanit in general is the sleep tracking, recap videos, and being able to save little moments and clips. The setup was easy, the audio is clear, and it’s become one of those baby product staples we use every single day. Definitely one of our most-used baby items and go-to gift.

    Mini Tablet

This is basically a dedicated mini tablet for your Nanit. It works well and I'd definitely recommend for the times where you don't want your phone taken up.

    Works but is glitchy

For the most part the monitor works well. If I was to do it again I would just by a tablet and download the app. The device video lags sometimes but my phone app has no problem (my phone is a cheap android from 2022). When and update is needed it says plug me in and then select update. Well it never recognizes that I plug it in and I have to hard restart it every time. The device has a new update almost every day.

    Nanit Monitor

Thankful to have the monitor instead of using phones all the time. The battery life is not great so needs to plugged in overnight & disconnects from WiFi - unlike a phone where it can switch to data.

Great addition to your nanit system!

Love that nanit finally added a home display! It’s been so lightweight & much more convenient than using your phone or tablet device to pull up the app. It helps give me peace of mind overnight. My only regrets is that the battery isn’t enough to supply an overnight watch & the livestream does drain it pretty quickly so you MUST have it plugged in for an overnight watch. It also is constantly asking for software updates which get annoying when you’re just trying to settle in for the night. Overall, a fantastic partner to the baby monitor. I am very happy with this purchase.
