[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nursery camera allows for a wide range of sight when you can't be in the room. At first I had a difficult time keeping it connected to wifi, I couldn't figure out how to switch the settings to 5mb on my internet. Once I switched internet providers, it was easier to find this settings, so it wasn't anything to do with the product, just in case anyone runs into this issue. It is great to have for small kids, babies, even to check in on the fur babies when you are not home. It is consistent (now that i have the wifi figured out) picture. Now I can have a peace of mind when I am having to do tasks away from their room, when I am in the shower/bathroom, or when the babysitter is here and i am not. Just a quick peek or a consistent open play, and my mind is at ease.

Dislike it before baby is even here

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

My husband and I set up our camera in the nursery prior to the baby, and we're very unimpressed with the brand. I like that there are two cameras and that the app monitors the room temperature, but our interactions with the app have been terrible. For one thing, the camera is extremely laggy when it comes to viewing the cameras or changing the angles. There are also a ridiculous number of push notifications that are just straight-up advertisements for the app's premium version. When the baby is here, we won't be able to turn notifications off so that's not an option in our phone settings. The app is also not user-friendly for finding functions, but I'm pretty sure I've already turned off the advertisement notification settings and I'm still getting them. I would contact support, but when I go to it in the app, it doesn't let me send the message. When we have the baby in the nursery, we will seriously re-evaluate whether this is a product we want to keep using. I've told pregnant friends and family members that it's not worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was extremely easy and had it up and running in know time. I absolutely love this camera baby monitor. The videos/images are very clear. My daughter is a toddler so being able to watch her and talk to her while she’s in her room is amazing. I wish I had this when she was a newborn, and the fact that you can continue to use this monitor has they grow is an added bonus. There are so many added features when you use the app. I highly recommend!

Good camera, mediocre app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this camera for a month and here are my impressions so far. PROS: Both cameras produce good image quality in day and night mode. The sound quality is also very good. The lower camera has a large field of view with the pan/tilt future. Camera and notification settings can be changed in the app. CONS: The app is NOT my favorite. It's not super user friendly. There have been times I have pulled up the app but I could not view the camera because of a pop-up prompting me to subscribe to HubbleClub. I have had 1 instance where the camera decided not to connect to the app and required me to unplug the camera to reset it. This was highly inconvenient since it occured after I put my baby down for the night and couldn't access the camera without waking my baby. That resulted in me having no way to monitor my baby throughout the night. The app notifications are also hit-or-miss. Sometimes notification are delayed 5 mins and sometimes the notifications never come at all. OVERALL: the camera is good but the app leaves a lot to be desired.

Clear picture and great panning ability!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor offers really clear pictures and has great panning ability. You can view up close and further out at the same time. The app is really easy to use and navigate. My husband paired this to our existing single camera and handheld monitor. It seemed to take him forever to pair, and the process was very cumbersome. Overall, this is a nice addition to our single camera and covers more areas in our house. Mounting was a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this monitor for our nursery! The two cameras all allows you to get a great view no matter where baby is whether they’re in the crib or in the room somewhere playing. It gives great quality photos and having a convenient app on your phone really helps. You keep a quick eye on baby no matter where you are. Whether we’re out to dinner on a date night or I’m at work I can always see you when babies taking a nap and is safely in their crib knowing that they are there and mom is at work. We really love this monitor and it is a great addition to our home would definitely buy a second one for the other room when we have another baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do wish a monitor came with the nursery pal dual vision camera. I looked online to see if I could just find the monitor and I could not. I do wish you could move the wide angle part... when I move the narrow part I feel like there was a delay when moving the camera.... there were some issues with setting up the camera but all in all I like that there are two cameras. I do like that you can video or snap a picture. All in all it's a great concept.

Great for monitoring an entire room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were sent this product through Influenster for our honest review. The Hubble dual vision monitor offers clear images day or night (we were honestly surprised by how far and well the night vision sees) while offering the ability to automatically track movement and see the entire room at the same time. The free version of the app, needed for connecting and monitoring, offers a timeline of moments and fairly realtime playback (5 secs or so of lag we’re experience on our WiFi). There are also a myriad of options like alerts, recording of events, and the ability to talk or play music through the monitor. While overall we are happy with it there were some issues - It took 5 or 6 tries to properly to the monitor through my phone and the app. In the end, it required a hard reset. Once it was connected, however, no further issues arose! We also could not figure out how to have it alert us to the baby making noise at night. My only guess is there are some competing settings between the app and my phone?? We’re still working on this one. The issue would easily be remedied by a handheld monitor in addition to the ability to link in via app. Finally, the close in camera, which tracks movements, is a bit loud when it’s moving or taking a still image, but we got used to this relatively quickly.

With the press of a button, you can communicate through the speaker on the camera and your phone. Having the ability to focus one camera and have the other on the surrounding area is very convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m expecting my second baby this summer & this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. It is so sleek & will be a great addition to the nursery. I love that I have the ability to watch from my phone. I haven’t set it up yet since our baby still has a few months before his arrival, but this monitor will make it so easy to watch him while he naps & I play with big sister.

Great quality, terrible notifications

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I would like this camera but there were several cons that I just didn't care for, but I did have some positives as well. Now that my son is 2yrs he will sometimes play in his room, so it has been nice being able to watch him without having to move the camera. Setting up the camera was fairly easy. There is a video in the app to guide you through the steps. In the beginning, the video on the camera wouldn't load right away but perhaps it was due to needing some updates, however, it finally did start working. While going through the settings, it seemed as if everything required a subscription to be used. I didn't bother signing up for the free trial since I wasn't sure I would use this camera in the long run. Lastly, one annoyance with this camera is that it notifies you of the smallest movement and noises. It picks up the smallest dust specks flying around. I am getting notifications every 2-3 minutes when there is no one home, so there shouldn't be any movement or sound. I even changed the settings to the lowest level and it still picks it up. Overall, if you are looking for a camera to check your kids when you are away or would like to see multiple angles, this camera is great. However, if you have a noisy/dusty house, you may get overwhelmed by the notifications. I will most likely be switching back to my trusty non-wifi video monitor which provides me exactly what I need. Pros - dual camera - easy set up - able to see mu kid when I'm not home Cons - the regular camera doesn't zoom in/out - every feature requires a subscription - excessive notifications

Great picture, but app needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera itself has a great picture, and the dual cameras allowing a wide and narrow view is so convenient. I was disappointed that the parent moniter is not included, and although it can be purchased seperately, that seems wild considering how expensive this camera retails for. The companion app is a bit glitchy, and the interfacecould be improved to be a bit more user-friendly. My child is a toddler, but I imagine if I was trying to figure out this device post-partum it would be a bit stressful. The speaker feature allowing you to play sounds is pretty cool, especially the white noise. Honestly I probably won't use the ability to play lullabies or audiobooks, but some might find it useful. The motion tracking sounded great, but in practice it doesn't work that well and makes the video lag, so I shut it off. If you don't have reliable high speed Wi-Fi and don't plan to purchase the parent moniter, this is definitely not the baby moniter for you. I live rurally and our internet is not the greatest, so the app often disconnects. Set up was fairly easy . I'm unsure what use the button on the camera would serve, since it ostensiblyshould be out of baby's reach. I wish it recorded until motion stops rather than just 30 seconds, but it nice to be able to go back a day and view events without paying for the subscription. It also will alert for sound detection, but doesn't record the sound, and it's a toss up if the event videos will have sound or not. The mounting bracket is a bit flimsy for how heavy the camera is, and the cord is rather short so you have to mount directly above an outlet or it won't reach. The feeding/diapering/ sleep tracking feature is probably nice for infants, superfluous for toddlers. The infared wants to be on more often than not, but maybe the room is a bit dimly lit. I honestly prefer our sinple straightforward non-wifi moniter because it is more reliable and easy to use even though the picture isn't as clear. At this price point I would expect more pros than cons, so unfortunately I probably would not recommend this camera. I think more effort should've gone to making the basic features work better rather than adding all the "extras."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an extraordinary box to receive from influenster! I received a low grade monitor during my baby shower and it was so useless. Now that I’m back to work this makes my heart full knowing I can check in on my little one and see how he is spending his time and the clarity is outstanding! Quite possibly the best item I have received yet! So grateful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the dual camera feature of this monitor! I can focus one camera at the door and one on my child to make sure she’s okay. I also like that I can still access the camera from my phone outside of the house. The alerts for motion are great, but I get alerted for motion even when there is no motion at all. I don’t know how that happens but it gets annoying thinking someone is in your house and then seeing nothing on the camera. I enjoy the one way video calls because I can communicate with my child when I’m in my room. Using the remote pan feature is great to scan the room for your little one, but it is a bit noisy so keep that in mind. I haven’t figured out how to use the preloaded sounds and lullabies yet, but I’m glad to know it’s an option.

Super sensitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received this monitor through Influenster in exchange for my review. It’s really quite impressive. You will need to download the Hubble app to link your phone as it does not come with a monitor unit. Your phone is the monitor. It does come with a bracket so that you can mount this if you desire. There are two cameras on the unit. One you can position manually, the second one you use the controls to pan left, right, up, and down. The two cameras provide you two different views that you can toggle back and forth through. One view is the wide angle of the entire room, the other is a narrow view so you can zero in on your baby. You can set it up to zero in on motion when it’s detected and you can even set up temperature range and you will get a notification if temp falls below or rises above your chosen temps. I will say however, this thing is SENSITIVE. I set this up in our guest room downstairs because I had my toddler napping down there. I got a notification for every sounds from the main floor and “motion detected” like once a minute. I did leave a tv on so I thought maybe it was the flashing light from that, but it’s actually still set up down there right now and I keep getting notifications of movement. The kids and I are all upstairs and when I look at the image (because it snaps a pic when motion is detected) it’s nothing. Maybe we have a ghost?
1 reply from Hubble Connected team - 1 year ago
Thanks for your feedback. In response to the Sensitivity comments, there is a feature in the app where you can adjust Motion Sensitivity. It is under Camera Settings/Notifications/Motion Sensitivity. There is a slider to adjust to multiple levels between Low/Medium/High. Please check it out.
