Target sent me an opened, dirty nanit. I’m pretty sure it was a return. Sent it back to get a new one and they refunded me instead. So now I have to buy it again. Thanks a lot target for giving me a migraine and a nasty, dirty nanit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this baby monitor. I was lucky enough to receive it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I can't recommend it enough. The floor stand attachment makes it so easy to move from place to place. I use it both when my children are sleeping but also move it often to the playroom during the day. As a mother and a full-time work-from-home employee, I love being able to see what my older kids are doing while playing and I know I can help keep them safe, even when in a work meeting or not in the same room. The breathing band gives me so much peace of mind throughout the night. It allows me to sleep so much more soundly knowing that there is an extra level of protection when keeping my baby safe throughout the night. The insights data is really interesting to read and track. I definitely think this is amazing for any parent, but for first time parents especially.

I am a momma of 4 boys, my oldest is 7 and youngest is 11 months. I in all kiddos have never had a monitor this incredible! The quality is AMAZING! The sound is crisp, the motion/sound detected alerts are so helpful, the video feed itself is definitely high def, even in night mode! The breathing band would’ve been so so helpful as a newborn, but I still got peace of mind using it on my almost 1 year old! I will forever recommend this product to new and existing mommas! It was also super easy to assemble and take apart! It was so easy, I made sure I packed it for our beach vacation for those moments we’d be on the patio or away from the sleeping baby- even if just to the living room! I love the app set up as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit Pro Camera gave us peace of mind and a little extra sleep. The floor stand setup was a breeze to put together. I love that the cord comes with covers so there is no worry about a little one (or furry friend) getting tangled in the cord. The base is sturdy but it look a few trials to find a the best space in my daughter’s room for it to fully see the crib due to the way her room is set up. Once we found a great spot the overhead view is fantastic and the picture is clear and crisp. I love that it gives you real time alerts for noise, sound and motion. You can adjust the sensitivity and the alerts you receive easily to match what is important to you! It has humidity and temperature tracking as well. The monitor we had previously had a separate parent unit which I do miss a little but the access to the monitor when you’re on the go and the ability to add multiple people to the camera at once outweighs the cons of not having a parent unit in my opinion. If you’re looking for a baby monitor with some great tech features and clear sound and video, this is the one for you! I have used a couple of different baby monitors and the Nanit absolutely knocks it out of the ballpark in terms of quality. There really is a reason why it is always rated so highly everywhere. I am only upset that I didn’t have this earlier. My baby is already 8 months old so I wasn’t able to use the breathing band, although looking back, I know it would’ve saved me from so much stress. The floor stand was very easy to set up and it felt very sturdy. I live in a small rental apartment and it was great how little space the floor stand takes plus I didn’t have to worry about drilling anything into the wall. This allows me to have the best view of my baby in his crib without having to leave holes in the wall. The video was crystal clear and the night vision is far better than the other monitors I had. I also loved that you can adjust the sensitivity — it worked amazingly with picking up my baby’s sounds but could tune out his white noise machine. I love data so the insights data was so interesting to me. I liked how it tracks his sleeping patterns and use that to help improve his sleep. I 100000% recommend the Nanit with floor stand to anyone with a baby

The stand is very easy to set up and is very sturdy. It has a great view of the whole bed. The app has been great. I love the notifications and how you can adjust sensitivity for sound and motion. I really enjoy the concept of the night time overview and statistics, though I think the way our bed is set up, it doesn’t work perfectly for us and doesn’t always realize when my baby is in the bed. I didn’t get a chance to use the breathing band, though it’s an interesting concept!

As a mom of FOUR young ones, being able to have the monitor accessible on my phone really makes my life easier. Instead of wondering where the parent unit is that I have repeatedly replaced (or that my children have used as a "phone" and pushed a million buttons), my monitor is generally right in my pocket ready to let me know when my attention is needed. It was super quick to install, despite it looking not so simple when I opened the box. I had a previous nanit floor stand monitor, and the change to the base on this model was a huge bonus for me! I love that it takes up so much less square footage in the room since it is flat and easily slides under the crib and against the wall. While being able to check on my baby by simply opening my phone is great, I really like! I love the reports on how well my baby slept however, they weren't always accurate. I think the monitor still needs time to "get to know us". On occasion, it would consider my little ones night time sleep as 3am - 9am rather than 8:30-2:30 with a feeding and then back to bed til morning. It always irks me (even though I know it's wrong) when it declares my babes night time sleep as bad and claims they only slept for 5 hours last night. I do love the reports of when he wakes up and when he falls asleep, and found them so helpful in knowing when it is time for him to go back down for a nap or when he's really ready for bed time. Despite the learning curve, I really love this monitor. I love being able to see my baby sleep so clearly (because the picture is truly so clear), and that I can check on him if hubby has to put him to sleep while I'm out. I even used it to talk to my older kiddos one evening when I was traveling abroad with the littlest! This has really made certain aspects of motherhood so much simpler and easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this camera as part of a testing panel but this actually my 2nd nanit. They've made some great improvements from my last model. The image is crystal clear and this version does an awesome job of cancelling my white noise machine noise and only picking up the baby. I love the split screen version for multiple kids. My toddler recently started complaining of the dark and so I've just started using the night light feature with timer and she loves it! Asks for us to turn it on every night now. The insights packages have changed over time. I was slightly annoyed I had to upgrade packages to add my nanny as a caregiver so she could use the app. But an upgrade is worth it to also get video coverage for 2 days. The nanit is great at picking up on sleep/awake times but not always 100% accurate. I find being able to go back and look at the video for a longer stretch is helpful. We are so reliant on the nanit that my husband doesn't ask how my night went with the newborn, he can just open the app and see for himself. The floor stand was super easy to put together. The wide base keeps it stable. The cord covers at the bottom were hard to put together and take apart when I realized I needed to take one off. A flathead screwdriver helped put enough tension on the latch to release but was trying with all my might to do it with my fingers. such a minor complain for a great camera. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought assembly time was reasonable. The instructions were very easy to follow. I had the monitor with floor stand put together within about 10 minutes. The camera itself can be pivoted, although, it doesn’t angle as much as I thought it would. I thought it was wonderful to receive a free breathing band. However, the size of the breathing band was for 0-3 months and my daughter is 8 months old so I did not fit her. A few resources I enjoyed was being able to rotate the camera view of my baby’s crib, being able to play white noise, however, I wish there were more options for white noise. The imaging of the monitor is clear, I had no issues seeing my daughter at any time even throughout the night. The monitor sends alerts to your phone for sound and motion. With the floor stand you’re about to sleep track and view analytics. The floor stand can also be adjusted with 2 different height settings positions. The idea is for the camera to be adjusted as your child grows. Another great feature is that the floor stand comes with a cord cover which be safely positioned within 3 feet of the crib. What I don’t like about this monitoring system is that it doesn’t come with a parent unit. I don’t want to rely on my phone at all times to see what my daughter is doing. I personally prefer to carry around a parent unit at home. The only time I like using my phone is when I work night shift so it’s nice to be able to login to see my daughter sleep. Overall, this is still a great baby monitor and has many benefits it’s just not my personal favorite. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Nanit Pro Camera and Floor Stand was incredibly easy to assemble. I was able to get it assembled and set up while watching and playing with my little one. The floor stand bits snap in place and instructions are easy and quick. The breathing band was helpful in monitoring my little one’s sleep without being too restrictive or invasive (or inconvenient). Because we are not too anxious about his breathing, this is not something we will be using long term, but it would be a useful tool for those who are anxious about their baby while sleeping. I really enjoyed the insights data. I love data in general and use it for work, so this was a natural way for me to see how we are doing with sleep. It helps so much with the big picture! The app was also great - I haven’t had any issues with connection or having to restart the camera itself. I’ve had issues with another brand of camera that had an app, where it would randomly not pair (and I would have to sneak into my little ones room, hoping he does not wake up), but not once have I had this issue with Nanit app/camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been so impressed with the Nanit Baby Monitor. I can safely leave my toddler to sleep in his bed and walk away with no worries. Even the slightest movement, I can set up an alert to be notified via my phone. The app is seamless and provides multiple users access (wife, nanny) to monitor the room's movement. The monitor displays the room's temperature which is another big plus in the hot summer months. Another great feature is the nightlight feature which is great for those middle of the night scenarios where I need a soft light to maneuver around my toddler's room full of toys on the floor. I haven't yet used the measuring height or the breathing apparatus but think it's another innovative technology for an all in one powerhouse baby monitor. Overall, I can't think of a better way to monitor my toddler and trust the Nanit to do the job. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel.

In a small space it's impossible not to bump into it. The stand on the Nanit Pro solves this, finally. I don't know why I never thought of it before! The quality of the video is similar to the other cameras we have had, and.I like the night light. The insights are great, I think they will be particularly helpful when there are any issues like a cold or sleep regressions. Good monitor, with some nice bells and whistles, love the stand! Two babies into this parenting things and I have tried a few different types of baby monitors with and without camera options. This is by far the best. The movement and sound alerts are much more accurate and relevant than I have seen with other monitors I have used. The picture is super clear. Love that it offers historical data that included a record of all events including pictures. Yes, thank you!!!!! And red alerts – I can’t say how happy these make me. This is why I have these type of monitors to alert me if something isn’t right. I need it to wake me up and Nanit satisfies this need for me. I appreciate that it lets you know temperature and humidity of the room so you know if baby is comfortable or not. Also, the breathing band is super easy to put on my little one and it is comfy for her to wear. My one gripe is that I can’t seem to figure out how to change the orientation of the picture to place the monitor at the end of her crib version right in front in the middle. This may not be possible and makes the aesthetics of the room not so great but that is an acceptable trade off for me when it come to safety, reassurance, and overall peace of mind. I heart this monitor. Please note that I did receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but at no point did it impact my option of this product. Trust me when I say I was extremely loyal to another brand before trying this one out. I am now Team Nanit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A huge thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test this Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand. We had a baby 10 weeks ago and this has been another great addition to our household. The camera has a wide viewing angle which is great for seeing nearly the entire room, that was impressive. The two way communication is the best we have ever used and the app makes it super easy to communicate, even for working parents, and the sound is clear from both ends. There are quite a few settings to manipulate including my favorite under the notification settings. You can set the motion area and the unit will notify you of movement detected in only the area you select! This is great especially if I have the camera set up in a common area. I can keep an eye on the baby while cooking dinner and only be notified of her movement and not her siblings. The stand is not our favorite, while it does it's job there is certainly room for improvement but overall Nanit hit it out of the park with this one.

It was simple to set up. I love that you can use an app and can play sounds. It needs to have a wide variety of sounds you can play. As some babies do not like certain ones. I really appreciate that I can see the temp and their breathing. You can subscribe after free trial and get a lot of information and so on. I do wish the band was for longer than three months worth of using it. I really appreciate that my phone screen can be off but I am still getting background noise in babys room, so I know when they are waking up without having to keep my phone screen on. You can also do two way talking. Overall we are very pleased with this monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow just wow! I have used the Nanit pro for two babies now and cannot speak enough about how amazing this monitor is. The picture is incredibly crisp, the system is so easy to use, and I love the UI! As a sleep deprived mom I am so grateful that I can always go back and see when my baby woke up last. My inlaws who are not the most tech savvy can use this system with ease as well! The new floor stand is A++. I have the previous model and love that this is less clunky. Because of the smaller base you can get the monitor much more directly over the crib, giving you a clearer picture and not missing out on the top section. I also at times in the early days when baby is sleeping in different bassinets have moved the monitor around the house and like that this base is smaller and not slamming into doors etc. The breathing band is also comfortable and so easy to use. We are just coming off of a very active sick season for my toddler and the breathing band has given me extra pierce of mind with my newborn. I have found compared to other monitors that the band is great in not slipping off. I also work outside of the home and it’s so nice to be able to go back and watch some of the clips of my little one throughout the day when I’m missing her. We love the Nanit pro, if you are between this and another monitor,this is the one for you! This is our third Nanit monitor in our household and we received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I have enjoyed this product. It’s very easy to use, as is the app that goes with the monitor. I like that I can use a simple fabric band to track my baby’s breathing rather than something that might break, just with the video monitor that gives me peace of mind. I can easily do chores downstairs while baby sleeps upstairs without worrying if he’s awake or crying and I just don’t hear him. I like the versatility of being able to use it as a floor unit, or to mount it on the wall. I have chosen just to use the floor stand as it suits my needs but the option is nice. On the app I haven’t found a way to modify the feed, it would be nice to be able to crop or zoom the viewing area. This is the main downside of the unit for me personally. Otherwise I’m very surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed the product. I’ve not used a baby monitor much in the past but I can see this quickly becoming a product I don’t know how I lived without in a two story home. I really like best that dad or I can peek in on him even when we’re away from home, with the app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand is an incredible product and a HUGE step above the rest when it comes to monitors. This was the perfect monitor for both the technology-obsessed (my husband) and the technology-challenged (me) because the app makes it so simple to use. Set up was so simple and the floor stand is extremely sturdy and fits perfect behind crib. The HD live streaming is VERY high quality for crystal clear images of baby. I love the wide lens which allows you to have a wide range of view as well as an extremely high quality zoom allowing you to see every detail. My favorite feature is the temperature and humidity gauges allowing me to be sure my daughter is always sleeping in the perfect conditions. The breathing band has been extremely helpful especially in these early stages where you just wanna stand over your newborn to make sure they are breathing. It sends the data directly to your phone through the app allowing you to monitor exactly how they are breathing. The Insight data is also extremely helpful when switching shifts with my husband over night because it allows you to see exactly what time the baby was picked up, put down and how long they have been sleeping for. This has been a life saver when trying to understand my daughters sleeping patterns! I also frequently check out the ‘sleep tips’ and ‘age related tips’ Nanit provides as they are always extremely customized to my daughters exact stage and I have learned sooo much through this feature. They give you goals such as ‘help baby fall asleep on their own’ and ‘develop a consistent bed time’ and it recognizes these things as they happen and alerts you once you have achieved that goal. I find this feature to be worth the price tag alone never mind the incredible quality of the overall product. The feature I use the MOST is the background audio option which let’s you switch the audio into the background of your phone so if you are texting or doing something else you are still able to hear what’s going on in baby’s room without actually having the app open. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this item to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am amazed! I never have used baby monitors for my first couple of kiddos but as we got a bigger place I knew we needed one. Thankfully this monitor came at the perfect time! Let’s start from the beginning. The box the monitor came in is a good decent size but it is pretty heavy so be cautious not to drop it. Opening up the box all the parts are right there half assembled. So no real need for directions but I still read the directions. You have to connect the poles together while pulling the power cord so the cords can connect properly. The top poles are made of metal which is what holds the camera. The bottom pole is plastic as well as the base. I did have some difficulties assembling the bottom pole compared to the top pole which has easier to assemble and disassemble, whereas the bottom pole doesn’t. You can connect the bottom pole to either the left or right corner to lay flush against the wall is tricky as it kept popping off for me which I did not like but I manage to get it to stay. I like that there is a app for you to be able to use this product. You also would need Wi-Fi and or cellular data to use the monitor. It took my phone it took a couple minutes to connect as I am not sure why it wasn’t working. It did not want to turn on but finally it turned on and I connected it after three tries. Now looking at the video feed it was lagging by about three seconds but I love how high definition camera is. It does also have a good maybe 3 x 5‘ of camera viewing to show around the area. I didn’t get to use the breathing band yet but as previous reviews have stated the band is small so I do wish it is available to purchase in a adjustable size rather than just a one size. Overall I’m really pleased with this baby camera monitor and the slimness of it as it does not take a lot of space. For the price I think there could be a couple of better adjustments to the product, as well as not having to purchase a yearly plan to use other features for the price that it is valued at.

I never had a Wi-Fi monitor before and was nervous I would have problems with internet but so far we haven’t had any issues! My husband works a lot and he likes being able to check in on the baby from work and he can even talk to us through the monitor which is an awesome feature!! It was easy to assemble and I love that it covers the wires since my baby gets into everything. The app is great and shows the time my baby went to sleep and how many times/what times we checked on him throughout the night. This is incredibly useful so my husband can check the app instead of asking me every time!! I wish I had bought this monitor earlier and could’ve used the breathing band when my baby was younger.
