After a few months there’s ridiculous subscription fees! Disappointing after the cost of the camera! The camera lags when watching it live on any device other than an a newer iPhone The floor stand is also absurdly priced when not bundled with the camera

The unit we first got didn’t work and we had to exchange it. Then the second unit stopped working after 3 months when we had to reset our WiFi. Support wasn’t helpful and didn’t work. Ridiculous to spend this much money and time on a faulty product.

This system is a joke and not worth it especially the insights plan you have to pay for. The ONLY thing I like about it is the camera and the clarity in the dark. Otherwise a complete waste of money. The notifications are not accurate nor consistent and the sleep and play time is inaccurate. It ALWAYS says my daughter is asleep even when we have the light on and playing in her room. I Co-sleep with her so I know when and how often she wakes at night and it rarely matches up to our notifications, they miss a lot even me getting out of the bed in the middle of the night or her waking up and crying. I would not trust it with a newborn in a room by themself.

Overall, we have enjoyed using this product in our nursery! My favorite thing about it is that we can monitor the temperature and humidity in the nursery. There are a lot of great features that come with the subscription (which is pretty expensive). You have to get in and mess with the notification settings because they can be really annoying. We ended up turning them all off except the “cry detection” which I think is the only useful one. My least favorite thing about this product is that your only viewing options are on your phone. I wish that there was a separate device that could be used to watch the live feed while I am at home. I find it annoying having to pull the app up on my phone when I’d like to be using my phone for other things. When I go to bed I have to pull the app up on my phone and leave it on so I can hear my baby. Sometimes in my sleep I will reach over and turn my screen off, which then turns my live feed off so then I’m not alerted when my baby wakes up. Overall, it’s a decent product but I would probably choose a different monitor next time around.

That’s all you’ll get from this overpriced webcam. As if the product price weren’t high enough, they expect you to fork over $300/year for you to access your videos. IF it is able to catch any of them, as all I ever receive are connectivity issues and “oops! We were unable to generate a clip for this event” — garbage!

I dislike the subscription model. It’s very expensive if you want to use the basic features. It’s basically a webcam without the additional features. I can just install a ring camera and call it the day.

Camera will not stay connected, live view is useless. There is a minute long delay when it can connect otherwise the screen is just trying to reconnect. How is that useful for a baby monitor and especially one that suppose to track breathing? Their customer service has been awful, they say I can’t return it because it’s outside of the window except I emailed them within the window and the didn’t respond for several days. They’ve told me several ridiculous troubleshooting methods: 1. I shouldn’t have to reset my WiFi every time I need to use a baby monitor and 2. I sure am not going to be moving the WiFi router and modem into my babies nursery so it can be “closer” when it’s already less than 15 feet away in the next room.

We’ve had this product for 4 years and used it for 3 years. The camera disconnects at least 7/8 times a night to the point we thought it was our internet and switched companies, NOT THE CASE! We’ve done every last suggestion this company says to try and none of it has fixed the on going issue! We’re having another child and will be doing our research this time around as we just relied on ads to sell us last time around. The Nanit has a GREAT marketing team but a garbage product. I’ve never been more frustrated and disappointed in a product and I owned a Windows phone! I will continue to report our issues on every last platform until people understand there are MUCH better products, IE The Owlet!

Not worth the money. I’ve had mine for 15 months and it’s constantly disconnecting and I’m having to always reset it. It takes a long time for the camera to connect. The picture is great, but honestly, save your money.

Terrible. This is a money pit to avoid, Nanit offers no features beyond a traditional babycam without a $100+ annual subscription. Furthermore, this product locks up your phone while using/monitoring so plan to buy or use a iPad for monitoring 100%. Be prepared to buy the $50 travel stand because no 3rd party plug will work. Be prepared if your WiFi goes out, no coverage. Don’t be surprised a multiple fuzzy frames and delayed notices. This was by far the biggest waste of $ when it came to baby gear/necessities…

I’ve been using this for about 4 months now. For a while it was working fine but recently have been having connectivity issues. Lagged video and the sound will randomly shut off in the middle of the night. The way our house is set up our bedroom is the opposite end of the house as the other bedrooms, so two nights in a row the sound shut off and my 7 month old was up crying for an hour because I couldn’t hear her through the app or across the house. My anxiety skyrocketed leaving her in her room so we bought a second baby monitor to use since I can’t rely on this anymore. It’s fine for the breathing monitor portion and it’s nice getting to see her napping through the app while the days I go to work but I can’t rely on it over night

I ordered this in February 23 shortly after I found out I was pregnant. The baby has been in my room until yesterday, we moved her into her own room. We opened our nanit only to find it dirty, missing critical pieces ( the wall mounting bracket) and it has paint chips on the back of it. Clearly someone has already used this and target repackaged it up and sold it again with missing pieces. Unfortunately, I purchased this a year ago and I’m outside of the return window. It’s a shame target is bold enough to sell incomplete products. We can’t even use this!
