Leap Frog Camera Stopped Working
After less than two years of very light use of this product, the camera just stopped working. My husband is a software engineer, and even he was at a loss for why it just stopped working. We reset it several times, disconnected and reconnected it to wifi, and did everything we could think of, including just unplugging it, but still it doesn't work. VERY disappointed in this product. I thought Leap Frog was supposed to be a good brand but now I have no way to check on my baby when I'm at work and she's left w/ the nanny.

Waste of money
Don’t buy this. Temp reading is always off. Won’t hold charge after only 7ish months. Now we have the hardest time connecting to monitor to the camera. Don’t waste your money.

Bad quality
When I first started using it it was great but after a few months the picture quality became worse and worse and the parent unit stopped holding a charge even while plugged in it would beep to be charged. I needed a new one within a year. It's the third brand we've tried and they all seem to have the same problems, the v teach and the Motorola did the same thing but it seemed to happen a lot quicker with those brands then with the leap frog.

Short Battery Life
No where near 15 hours of battery life. We charge is daily and shut it off when not in use. Constantly beeping for low battery or connectivity. Often goes into docking mode, too. It does the job but and we probably won’t replace it, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I very much regret buying this monitor
The only reason this monitor even deserves a star is because of the color camera, I love that part of it. Other than that, it's absolutely terrible. The touch nightlight was fantastic the first month or two, before it went out completely. The monitor and camera can barely keep a connection for an hour. I initially blamed it on the plaster walls in my house, but I can have them in the same room, 10 feet apart, and they still won't connect. I find myself going into my baby's room multiple times in the night to turn the camera off and back on so they will finally reconnect. I basically realize he has woken up about 75% of the time by actually hearing him crying from his room, because the monitor is sitting there attempting to reconnect after losing service at some point of the night. Do not waste your money

Color night vision only works with bright light
Finally found a monitor that seems to have a reliable battery. However, it claims to have color night view, but in order for it to work you have to turn the light on the camera on very bright. Which means baby isn’t getting any sleep! Not a deal breaker since the black and white night vision is plenty clear. But don’t buy this thinking you are going to see your baby in full color at night! The screen is large and the features are easy enough to use once you get the hang of it.

There is no interference with other frequencies either. Which was a concern of mine. The sound is clear and so is the visual! I highly recommend this for any new parent or grandparent.

Simple setup and great noise response
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased with how simple and easy it was to set up. I had no issues at all. The video images are clear and very easy to look at. The lights on the monitor are soothing and look good in the room. You can also hear very well on the monitor and adjusted as you need it. I recommend this for all new parents and actually for anyone that is just needing to monitor other rooms.

Perfect for new parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this video monitor to be feature rich and function very well. LeapFrog seems to have thought of everything when designing this. I love that this model has both a physical handheld LCD screen but also has the option to remotely view the camera via an app. This way if one parent is at home, the other can still check on the camera and see what's going on. The controls on the work well for adjusting the camera and talking back through the monitor. The temperature and humidity sensors are a neat idea, but I can't be sure how well they actually work - generally a humidity sensor needs periodic calibration, so I can't speak much to those features. It was easy to set up, is reliable, and seems to work well, so in my book it's a keeper.

The picture on the screen is very clear and it picks up on the smallest bit of noise. It definitely helps us keep an eye on our 11 year old boxer that isn't doing so well.
