Worked great for 14 months then all of a sudden stopped working. The camera stopped connecting to the device and/or the app. Literally overnight. We tried everything at home and then called the support line, after they walked us through the same troubleshooting, we had already done on our own, they told us to “ look for some good deals or sales to buy a new one” because it has been past the 12 month warranty. (14 months exactly). Save your money in the long run and just buy a Ring cam, which is what we started using instead.

This monitor has some great features, but the quality is lacking. The kickstand broke within the first couple of months of very gentle use. I thought maybe it was just a fluke but after purchasing a second one, the exact same thing happened. There is clearly a design flaw. I would not recommend this product.

I have received a damaged product and had to return it. The camera worked fine but the monitor that came with the unit doesn’t hold any battery charge. Tried charging it overnight and still gets turned off once the charger is disconnected.

I really wanted to love this monitor, especially with how much it costs. However, it’s been a disappointment. I love that it has the option to not connect to WiFi. That was the appeal, especially with how much you hear about weirdos hacking WiFi and watching people’s babies but every time you turn on the monitor it asks if you want to connect to WiFi or wait 8 hours to ask again. It loses connection to the camera so easily. If you turn the monitor off before the camera the monitor will turn back on and start this annoying beeping. Then if you plug in the monitor after turning it off the monitor to charge it, the monitor will turn back on and start beeping. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing if you’re looking for a monitor that has an option to not connect to WiFi.

Liked at first but it CONSTANTLY disconnects from the camera. As a new mom this was extremely frustrating especially after spending a little more money for what I thought would be a peace of mind. Do not purchase unless you enjoy waking up multiple times within the night and sneak into your babies room to try and get them to reconnect to one another. It eventually got to the point to where I could not even reconnect the devices so I emailed their customer care and they said no problem as a one time courtesy we will replace the unit (as if a defective device that was barely used for two months is my fault) but after I sent them the photos of what they requested they stopped answer my emails and have not received a replacement or even a response back. It unfortunately made me stop buying leap frog devices all together based on the item and customer service. Save your money and buy another brand.

It worked great for the first 7 months. Took a while to turn on, but everything else worked great. Now I can’t get it to connect to my phone. It just says “offline.” I have tried troubleshooting and researching how to fix it, but can’t seem to find a solution. I’m glad the connection to the monitor still works, but having the app on the phone was convenient. It’s frustrating spending $180 on something that doesn’t do what it should

I bought a few different monitors and really liked the capability for this one to link to multiple cameras. The various settings are handy, night vision is clear, and the range is great! Only thing I wish it would do would zoom out a little bit more. The camera is placed on the top of a standing floor lamp looking down at my son’s crib, and in the most zoomed out view, it still only gets about 3/4ths of his body.

This one by far is the best we have had , I wish the battery would last longer on the mini monitor but that’s something minor . The picture is pretty clear and it has night settings. You can have the motion sensor on so it will beep if the baby is waking up or moving around ! It also has a temperature setting and it will notify you if the room is to cold or to hot ! 10/10 will Always recommend it !

This baby monitor is extremely inconsistent. We've used it for 5 nights. So far, the video recordings feature has only worked for two of those nights. The motion detection notification feature works well 70% of the time. However, the pictures actually showed less than 10% of those times. I did like the nightlight, but that is all. I really wanted to like it. I am thankful I found all of this out early on, and so I will be returning this product.

It was great and I raved about this monitor until 3 months in and the connection is terrible. It’s essentially unusable and we’ve missed the return window. I read other reviews like this one and thought it can’t be that bad and it truly is that bad.

This is as great while it lasted. Only lasted 4 months and it started glitching - would flash green bright light that would wake up the baby. The night light feature started having a mind of its own and turn on and off and then change colors. I loved this while it worked because the video is so clear and the background noise was so minimal. Very disappointing.

First the kick stand snapped off then the camera just stopped working/connecting. Really loved this monitor, but too faulty. Don’t get my started on leapfrog support, they never respond to my emails.

I really wanted to like this but it proved to be very frustrating. The monitor screen, while lovely and large, is not at all intuitive to work (and my husband and I are pretty tech-savvy). Unlike our Motorola monitors, it takes a long time to load and doesn’t have many buttons hard-wired, but instead the functions need to be accessed from a hidden menu (several steps too many from a usefulness perspective). Additionally, the connection frequently cuts out, “freezing” the image and making it useless if you’re trying to figure out what’s going on in the room without walking there. As you pan from side to side, the picture lags so you can’t tell where you are in the room in real time and it takes a few tries to get the right viewpoint. I gave it two stars because you don’t have to mount it on the wall and it has a built-in nightlight.

Honestly, we really like this camera in the beginning, the large touchscreen was great and clear, we had no issues at all. After going through two VTech monitors, er thought we found the perfect one, then tonight (after it had worked all day with no issues) it wouldn't connect, no matter what we tried. My husband is currently sleeping on the baby's floor just in case, since it was too late to go buy a new one. We'll be returning it tomorrow and purchasing a monitor from a company that isn't associated with VTech (which apparently Leapfrog is).

I had this monitor for 4 days and it stopped working. The screen froze, couldn’t use any of the buttons including the power button. Had to return it with an image of my child sleeping on it because I couldn’t power it down. 4 DAYS. Terrible

We are the parents that are constantly hovering over the baby to make sure there okay and the other kids and animals aren't to close to the baby. This baby monitor can be easily set up within a minute and adjusted to the viewing you like. I use the baby monitor when the baby is sleeping and I need to clean the house ot take a shower. I can always look over at the monitor and see how the baby is doing. This gives me peace of mind that I can not only see everything in the room but also hear everything. I'm finally able to get stuff done and not constantly sit and watch the baby sleep. The quality of video is clear and the sound is crystal clear. The monitor is touch screen so adjusting the settings it very easy to do. I think this monitor is great quality and will be long lasting.
