Q: The locks are not totally child proof. My grandson who just turned two is easily able to remove them. He figured it out on his own. He is also able to take the plug outlets out. Any suggestions?

A: They do have a cover that you screw in the base over the outlet. With mine you pinched the sides to remove the cover

Cat proof!
I bought this not for a baby, but for my cat who thinks she’s slick. I put one on the set of cabinets with her food in them (as she likes to open them on her own free will) and it worked pretty well to keep her out, although she did try to get around it.

Do not recommend on round knobs
These did not work on our kitchen cabinets with round knobs. You can take them right over the knobs and get them off. There are ones on Amazon that are the same style but thicker so the knobs don’t slip through. I would not recommend these unless you have knobs that are bigger around.

Not 18 month old Proof
I'm 7 months pregnant & thought I would get a head start on child proofing. My 18 month old nephew came over & removed the lock within 2 minutes of messing with it. I now have to search for another lock.

Does the job!
This cabinet slide lock serves its purpose — it does a good job at keeping little fingers out of the cabinets. My 2 year old and 10 month old have not been able to figure out how to take it off. It was easy to install and simple to take on and off. It is a bit of a pain to take on and off each time, but it's worth it to keep our little ones out of no-touch areas. I do tend to care about aesthetics of things, so I will say it is a bit bulky and not the prettiest thing on all of the cabinets. I would've probably preferred something that was smaller/less noticeable, like some other options out there. Overall, it serves its purpose and it's easy to use. *This product was given to me to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.*

Love it
My husband and I have 18 month old twins on the move and these safety locks have been absolutely necessary and amazing. The slide lock is super easy to utilize and effective. Our girls bow struggle to try to open cabinets and are safe from anything that could be potentially harmful for them. The thing that I loved the most is that my husband installed it in less that a few minutes, they actually work, they're in exp and just overall a MUST HAVE for any and all parents trying to pro their little ones. I received this product free in exchange for my review and it is 100% the truth! I promise!

Child Proof
I received the Safety 1st Cabinet Slide Lock from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it was perfect to child proof my house. It was very easy to use and perfect to keep my baby out of dangerous places! It was very easy to install and very easy to move from place to place. I liked this lock mostly because it was so easy to use and there is no need to put holes drill into cabinets to install them. I really enjoy this easy to use product!

Peace of Mind!
A big thank you to Stellar Product Reviews Testing Panel for providing me with the Safety 1st Cabinet Slide Lock! As a first time mom, I didn't know this was one of the many things I would need once my son started becoming mobile. At eight months of age, he's into everything! These keep him out of my cabinets, away from household cleaning products and the hair products in my bathroom. These were super easy to install and go pretty much unnoticed against my white cabinets. The best thing of all is that it gives this mama peace of mind!

Works As Intended
I received this item as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel. This lock worked as intended, it kept my baby out of areas we didn't want her to be in. It was incredibly easy to install and easy to use for the most part. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it's hard to use if you only have one free hand, you need two hands to close to back up. It's also not the most aesthetically pleasing cabinet lock we've used, but overall it's great for the price and gets the job done.

Cabinet Slide Lock
Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me this product to test. I love the Safety 1st Cabinet Slide Lock. I was hesitant at first because of potential inconvenience, but the product quickly won me over. It was extremely easy to install and use. The slide lock quickly solved my problem of my 11 month old getting into my kitchen cupboards. The ease of mind the lock has provided is invaluable. I like the simplicity of this product the most, as it provides safety without inconvenience. It is easy to slide for locking and unlocking.

Safety 1st Cabinet Slide Lock
I received this baby proofing item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am a first time mom to a 5 month old, who is very close to being in the move so baby proofing a few cabinets is a necessity! These Safety 1st Cabinet Slide Locks were so easy to install and work perfectly. Once installed you cannot open the cabinet even for the tiniest of fingers to get in there. I was worried the lock may not work as well because we have pull handles instead of circular knobs but it worked great!

Lifesaver for parents of babies/toddlers
I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. These cabinet locks have been a lifesaver to keep my little one out of my cabinets. He has allergies so I am always concerned about him getting into something that will make him sick. These are so easy to install and remove as needed. It doesn't cause damage to the cabinets and aren't bulky. My favorite part of using these is that they aren't permanent so I can remove them whenever I need to without having to constantly unlock them even when my little one isn't around. I definitely plan on buying more of these to use on other areas of my home.

A great baby safety product!
We received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The slide lock was simple to install and it was not hard for an adult to open when needed. Our toddler was not able to open the lock which gave us peace of mind and less worry of him being able to rummage in our cabinets.
