Q: Does the adhesive remove cleanly for when I want to remove these locks?

A: Hello. We advise to use something like dental floss or fishing line to break the seal and you can wipe of the remaining residue as needed.

A: Hello. To remove the adhesive, we recommend using fishing line or waxed floss between the lock and the surface. You may then use soap and water to remove any residue. If the paint is old or chipping the adhesive may take some off

This is a terrible product. The plastic clip breaks after very little use and the adhesive DOES NOT COME OFF despite using fishing line, blow dryer, goo be gone. Do not buy this.

I am so happy to have found these again! BB&B stopped selling them and they are an essential for short term rental hosts. You definitely don't want to deal with child locks when you don't even have a child and this makes it feel like there is no baby lock unless a family who has a baby engages the lock by twisting it. Brilliant. I've used them for 3 years on both of my vacation rentals and basically panicked when one broke and I couldn't find it online anymore. Thank you Target!

The strip where you press down to open a cabinet door or a drawer is made of a brittle plastic and breaks after only about 4-6 times that you press them! In general, all component parts, and especially the press down strips, should be made of a more flexible plastic! If I could I would give these ADHESIVE Safety Cabinet & Drawer Latches a NEGATIVE MINUS review. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE ADHESIVE Cabinet & Drawer Latches! They are total GARBAGE!

I liked this product until two of the three latches we used snapped. I can see in the reviews, this has happened to others. We were not hard on them. So unfortunately, we have to replace and find another option.

Bought this for kitchen cabinets. Very easy to install but after about 3 months of use 3 of them broke. Now my baby has access to glass containers, food items(chocking hazard) and pots and pans that he pulls out and drops on his toes. This should be RECALLED

Wasted money on 12 of these things because it doesn't list anywhere what types of cabinets and drawers these will actually work on. ALL of my drawers and cabinet doors have a lip or overhang on them therefore when I put this lock on any of them the cabinet door or drawer will not close even close to all the way.

These cabinet locks are TERRIBLE. I have had to replace SO many of them and for the price it is ridiculous . The little latch snaps right off of them . It is such a disappointment when you think you are purchasing a great product. Go with the inexpensive, simple affordable latches . Not these. The photo I posted is just one of the many times I have had to go through and swap out all of the broken ones.

We put these on most of our kitchen cabinets and our bathroom cabinets. Very hard to push down to open. After about 6 months they are all broken and I can't get them off the cabinets.

The cabinet door latch works fine for keeping my grandsons safe from products under the kitchen sink. But was very disappointed that the drawer application didn't work for two different style of drawers. I bought an 8 Pack and was only able to use 2.

We had no problem setting these up or closing our cabinet doors. We thought they were great and we’re grateful not to have had to drill. But we have had them for a few months and in just the last few weeks, three have broken. The long piece that you press down to open the cabinet latch just snapped clean off near where it joins the piece attached to the cabinet door. We aren’t particularly rough, but these are kitchen cabinets we open several times a day. It seems like the rigid plastic can’t handle repeated flexing over time and snaps. Poor design or materials.

There is an unnecessary lip on these where the logo is that prevent any cabinet from closing fully. Unless you want your home to look sloppy this is a terrible choice.

“Looking to childproof your home? Here’s a product that will make your life even MORE frustrating! After carefully reading through the instructions and looking over the box, you may notice that we don’t include any photos of drawers and cabinets closed flush. That’s because your drawers and cabinets won’t close flush! Having trouble opening the top drawer above the drawer with the latch you just installed? That’s because you can’t open it without both drawers catching on each other! Is your child’s hand bigger than three adult fingers? Then they won’t be able to get past this (probably). Did you just read the other reviews of this product and realize this is a waste of money? We were afraid of that.
