Monopoly: Disney Villains Edition Board Game for Ages 8 and Up, 2-6 Players

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I are HUGE Disney fans and we also love board games so naturally The Monopoly: Disney Villains Edition was a must have! You get to play as your favorite Disney villain (Evil Queen, Maleficent, Cruella, Jafar, Scar, or Hook) and each character has a power card listing their special ability, which is activated by acquiring the Flames of Power ring. Instead of buying property like in the original Monopoly, you hire villians in this edition. There's even Poison Apple cards that allow players to steal coins and properties. This game is so much fun and I recommend it to any Disney Villain fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is pretty fun, I did get 5/6 chance cards that were just black, but other than that everything was there and correct. My son and I enjoyed playing this once we learned the differences between this game and the regular Monopoly. I like that there were villains from all the Disney movies, from old to newer movies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disney x Monopoly villians is the coolest collaboration I've seen. We love having family game night and this game is a nice twist on the traditional monopoly game we all grew up with. This would make a really cool gift for any disney villain fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my Monopoly Disney Villans Edition a few weeks back, got to say its pretty interesting to explain how to play to my kids but got to say it was lots of fun loved that its Disney Villans Edition. Also my kids loved that its a pretty long game which keeps us entertained.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How awesome is this take on the original Monopoly! They have a lot of the famous Disney Villains that we are use to seeing in our childhood. I love the details of the player pieces. The game is very similar to the original with an awesome switch from the original game with the superpowers. My kids have loved playing this version of monopoly. I also think it will be a hit at our Halloween gathering with family this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is always asking to play board games for a family night activity. I needed to find one that would be suitable for her age. I thought the classic version of this might be too boring for her so was delighted to see a Disney villains one. The game is basically the same process but there are many changes. You play as one of six villains that are made in the same style as the classics like the car and thimble. Instead of purchasing property you hire villains. There isn’t any paper money which I missed. You use tokens. You add thickets and lairs instead of hotels and houses. You still have chance cards but the community chest cards are changed to poison apples card. The game board is smaller so gameplay is quicker. You still can go to jail and collect money when you pass go.The beautiful artwork of the characters is very pleasing and I do enjoy that more than the classic version. Instructions and rules are easy to follow. You get used to changes quickly if you are used to the classic style. We all had a blast playing and my husband was the reigning king this time. We plan to take this with us to family gathering over the holidays for something new to play since we usually just play card games.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok to be honest we were a little confused at first but I think it's because the kids were hyped up to play while we were trying to read the instructions. Overall the game not as long as the original, but not as short as the shorter versions. I'd say it took us an hour to complete our first game. The pieces are super cute and my children loved it when they got the crown and were able to use their secret powers. Colors on the board are amazing and we loved to see all of our favorite villains on the board.

The board and pieces look wonderful and the entire family loves it. We have played with both kids and all adults and everyone adores this board game!

You can choose multiple different villains just wish they had scar though that is my.only complaint about it

The villains are amazing and the board has a great look to it. My fav player piece is the Queen from Snow White. This version is one that I believe will be such a hot item!

When friends and family came over to eat dinner that we all had to play it. It was super cute getting everyone to play it. We all love monopoly and this made our love for it even stronger!

With Monopoly: Disney Villains Edition, you can play as Cruella, Jafar, Scar, Evil Queen, Meleficent, or Hook. Each character has a special ability you can activate by using the Flames of Power ring when you pass GO. Poison Apple Cards give players an advantage such as stealing coins and properties and taking free Thickets and Lairs and advance on the board by landing on a Vehicle space. The object is for players to hire the most villains they can as they buy and sell villain contracts instead of properties. The last player with money and hasn't gone bankrupt, wins. I love this game and will have hours of funs with the family and kids. It definitely is Monopoly with a twist.

My kids are 10 and 11 and love this game, it’s a nice break away from the video games and electronics. We all have our favorites such as Cruella and the Evil Queen and it features both old and new Villains. It’s great game to play with the family and the directions were easy to follow. We were able complete the game in under an hour.

Instead of cash you have $1 coins and $5 coins, which was easy for my youngest to grasp. There are some fun features to this monopoly like when you pass go you get the flames of power. This gives you different powers depending on your character. Definitely a family game must!

Very simple game to play it is a little different from the original but pretty much same concept. The characters were metal which was interesting, as I expected them to be colorful like the board. Nonetheless fun game and a great add to game night.
