Clean looking and sounding
These volume controls handle decent power and go from completely off to full power without any noise. The look is clean and without any markings. You can't tell by looking where the volume is set, so I turn the control full CCW when not using my external speakers.

A solid device
An amazing volume control, a very solid build - need to buy another one for upstairs! Important note: extra-super-deep, like, doesn’t fit into deep remodel-electrical box (which you don’t need for audio, but might encounter in your wall). I simply had to file off internal guides buried deep inside the remodel box to allow the volume control to fit nicely. My next option would be to remove the remodel box and insert a low voltage bracket into drywall opening. The sound is clear and raising/lowering the volume is smooth.
