Microphones produce very low level signal feeds, which are easily susceptible to magnetic interference. Microphone outputs must be amplified and when a microphone feed is amplified, any interference will also be amplified. An excellent product. The 24 awg wire size allows the cable to be very flexible and to not cause unnecessary strain on the connected devices. The star quad wire arrangement is a nice bonus.

Bought a pair of these in 3’ length to add some surround channels to my HT system. They worked just fine at a reasonable price for my requirements. Not as well made of my primary balanced inputs but they do the job!
