The Monoprice USB 2.0 Cable is for Data Transfer "Hard Drive Enclosures" not a PC-to-PC data cable. How do I transfer files from PC to PC using USB? 1. Connect both computers with the USB-to-USB transfer cable. 2. The next step is installing transfer software on both PCs. 3. After installation, launch the software on both computers. 4. You can easily navigate through the remote computer and move the files you want to the destination folder on the second computer. Wrong cables!
I don't like them, I bought 2 of them. They don't work so I just throw them in a drawer. Could be my fault, I bought them by mistake. There are all knd of USB cables now: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I... I probably bought the wrong ones.

Didn't work
This was a hard cable to find. Very few places carry it and it has too be ordered. It came quickly but when I got it didn't work. I thought it was my printer so I had a tech check it. He said it was the cable. It would cost more to return than the item cost so I had to take the loss on it.
