Q: are these too low for the elderly?

A: Product states the seat is 13.5" high which would be too low for many elderly. For reference, an ADA toilet seat height has to be between 17-19" high. So these are very low.

POLYWOOD is made from HDPE—short for “high-density polyethylene”—a durable plastic that's widely used to make milk jugs, laundry detergent containers, bottle caps, etc. Our furniture is made with recycled and reusable HDPE, including post-consumer and post-industrial materials. Q: Is the slate gray color the same as the gray color of the Moore Polywood bench? The slate gray looks darker, so I wanted to confirm. I'd love the chairs and bench to match.

A: Hello, These will come with pieces ready to assemble, with any full holes, or pilot holes as necessary. There will be step by step instructions as well as hardware included. The only tool that is not included is a 7/16" wrench. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Q: Do the dark colors get hot in the direct sun? As in too hot to sit in comfortably?

Q: The connecting table says it works with counter and dining chairs. I don't see dining chairs on site. Does it fit the regular Adirondack chair. the counter and regular chair seem to have same arms connecting

We ordered four of these chairs and each one was missing nuts and bolts. We had to special order parts to finish building. For such pricey chairs this is pretty disappointing.

These chairs add a nice modern touch to my backyard. They are durable and somewhat heavy. They are very comfortable to sit in, however, if they have been directly in the sun, they get hot. My husband and I love to relax in these chairs. They were also very easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to understand as well.

We bought another pair of polywood adirondack chairs from Target last year that looked identical to these, and we've been pleased with the quality. This latest set, however, was quite disappointing. There were gaps between the parts once it was assembled, and one preassembled arm rest came off during assembly because the factory drilled screws holding it to its bracing were only driven less than a quarter inch into the bracing. Instantly stripped. I drilled new, deeper holes (I wasn't about to pack the whole chair back up and return it) and fixed the problem, but wasn't too happy about it. We expected much better quality for the price we paid for these plastic chairs.

We ordered 2 of these chairs. BOTH of the chairs had the same issue in that the part that attatches to the arm of the chairs on the front legs was misshapen and not cut appropriately. This was an issue on BOTH front legs on one chair and only one front leg on the other. I called 800-440-0680 as was advised in the Q&A and spoke with a service associate. I was hoping they could just send me 4 new legs for the 2 chairs instead of boxing them up and returning them to the store. That was not an option apparently. I'm hesitant to order another pair as my thought is that if there was an issue with these 2 separate chairs I'm not sure I feel confident taking a chance and ordering more. So disappointed.

Love the look of these chairs! However, they really need to figure out how to provide the right hardware. Of the 4 chairs I ordered, only 1 had. The correct hardware! The others were missing critical items and/or had the wrong color hardware. I am not looking forward to getting this corrected as I waited 3 weeks for these chairs already. What a bummer!

I really love these chairs. So much that I ordered 4 of them in 2021 and ordered 6 more this year. 5 of the 6 I ordered came either with wrong pieces (two right arms instead of right/left) missing screws, bolts and nuts. One of the boxes has 6 wrong bolts and only one right bolt. This has been such an annoyance. We were able to drill new holes to make one of the chairs work, I am waiting on new bolts and nuts for one pair, and the last pair that arrived, I had to contact the manufacturer myself. I don't want to load them up and return them, I just want the right parts!

Should have looked at the size more carefully. These are very small for Adirondack chairs. Usually you should be able to rest your head but these are so tiny and average size adult definitely cannot. Other than that, the actual quality of the materials is good and it was very easy to assemble.

Ordered 2 chairs. Only 1 came with the needed hardware. Target has not yet been able to correct the situation. They offered to send a new chair in which I could take the hardware from and then send back the chair itself. Not convenient but the only option. That chair was supposed to arrive last week (2 weeks after the original chairs) but it never did. The tracking has not been updated.
