Overall a Good Purchase
I did a lot of research into microchip feeders for my two cats and chose this one for a few reasons. Namely, they were less than half the cost of the other two brands on the market. Things I like about this feeder is the price, they keep my overweight male cat from eating my female cats food, fairly easy to setup as long as you read the directions, and the bowl is removable for cleaning. The things I dislike about this feeder are that well, it's ugly, and it's BIG. I was shocked at how large it is. It will still work for me but just takes up a lot of space. If you want something smaller and nicer looking, you are going to have to shell out the $200 for the surefeed bowl. Another thing to note is that your cat has to wear a collar with these so you can attach the tag to them. There is no option to use the microchip in the back of their neck. Additionally, these do not come with the USB block. You need to plug it into the wall. Luckily, I had some laying around. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase, and my cats acclimated to them immediately with zero issues. Hopefully, they will last me a long time.

Works well for the price
I bought two for my cats. I followed the instructions and set them up pretty easily. My one complaint is that one of them isn't as sensitive as the other, so the tag has to be very close to the sensor to activate. The other thing is I was hoping the feeders would work with the microchip in my cats, but the sensor can't sense the chips, so I have to use the provided tags.

Big disappointment
The first problem was I ordered 3 feeders- one for each one of my cats but only 1 was shipped. Once I installed batteries in the one I received and followed the directions to start the menu, it didn’t work. The display was off and no options for timer, etc were available. Big disappointment.
