A: Hello! Than you for your question! First, this product is safe to use around pets, including cats and dogs, when used as directed. Do not use directly on your pet or in a confined, unventilated space where pets are kept. Also, be sure to allow any surfaces that your pet may come into contact with to dry before your pet returns to the area. To be cautious, many pet owners prefer rinsing.

Our Mr. Clean Lemon Antibacterial All-Purpose Floor Cleaning Liquid should be used:
Mix 1/8 cup per 1 gallon (1/2 bucket) of room-temperature water. 'Usually' no need to rinse.
Now, the preparation for Disinfectant Use-Solution: Dilute 1/2 cup with water to achieve 1 pint of solution or equivalent dilution. For Heavy Duty Cleaning use solution as is.

Go back to old scent
I really wish they would go back to the old lemon scent. That was my favourite cleaner scent of any brand. Now it’s so artificial. I also don’t like that the new formula doesn’t suds at all.

Terrible Smell
I have used Mr. Clean lemon scent for years. Just opened the new Lemon and could not believe the horrible smell. There is no way I will use this in the house. I used it for my green bin in the garage and even that is awful. Why does every company seem to think that they have to make every smell stronger? I am going to have to find a new cleaner because I can't use this in an inside bathroom. I have two bottles of this new stuff that will be used for outside garbage cans and that is it. Very disappointing.

Charged formula is a failure
I’ve been a long time user of this product. The new formula does not provide that lemon smell and less bubbles makes it feel like the product doesn’t clean as effectively. Go back to original formula

Awful...
I'm disappointed. Why did you change a product that was awesome? A shame you discontinued Summer Citrus cleaned well and was the greatest. Your product(s) have been in our family since the 70's and let me just say, I'm not impressed. The Lemon scent is putrid and smells more like rotten lemons then lemon fresh. It doesn't cut the grease nor clean like it use to. I tried to like it, I just can't. Very disappointed that now I will have to try and find a better cleaner.

You have Ruined Mr. Clean
The new lemon smell is disgusting. It smells like Lysol which I never used because of the smell. Why did you ruin the smell? I have two huge bottles I will have to throw out. What happened to kills 99% of viruses and bacteria in all of your other fragrances? I have used Mr Clean 99% for decades but NO MORE!!! Change the smell back and add the 99% disinfectant!!!!

For small spills, blot up as much liquid as possible with a dry cloth, paper towel or sponge. Then pour a small amount of isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) on a sponge and blot up any remaining product. Be sure to do a colorfast test first to ensure carpet dye can accept this treatment. Our products go through many quality checks to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. What you've described is not something we would expect and I'm sharing your experience with our Quality Assurance Team. Very disappointed! Have used Mr Clean for years and it worked great. Loved the original lemon scent! The new product is not improved in my opinion - no suds, leaves a film and the scent is blah. I cannot understand why companies can’t leave well enough alone. Reach out to your customers first before making major changes (-are they not using their own products to clean?). Will be switching brands.
