A: You can use the Original, Duo and Extra Power Magic Eraser versions on paint walls, but we don't recommend using it on faux paint or surfaces where painted within the last 3 months. Also, only use on 'matte' or 'flat' finishes. It's important to also note that we don't recommend using the Bath Scrubber, Kitchen Scrubber, or Tub and Tiles Magic Eraser on painted surfaces. If in doubt, you should test in a small, inconspicuous area with light pressure first, to decide whether or not to clean the whole surface.

A: That's a good question, Nancy. I do not recommend using my Magic Erasers to clean dishes with. Instead, I suggest checking out Dawn, Fairy, or Yes brands for the best dish cleaning products. The two blue dots in my pics are all the soap that’s included. The scent is nice-it smells fresh. I tested this in my kitchen sink and it removed some light rust stains that had been there for years. I don’t know how much this costs since it was sent to me for free for review, but I wouldn’t pay any extra for it because of the soap since I could just add that myself with what I already have on hand.

Thanks for reviewing my Mr. Clean 2-in-1 Magic Eraser with Built-In Cleaner. To get the best clean possible with the Eraser, just wet, squeeze soap dots, and erase! If you're not getting a generous amount of suds, be sure to squeeze it several times under water, then squeeze the eraser out of the water so it isn’t dripping wet. Make sure you are fully pressing on the colored dots to activate the soap. The more you squeeze the dots, the more suds you will get. After using the Eraser, be sure to rinse the area cleaned with water to remove leftover mess and leave it to dry naturally. Have more questions or concerns, let us know any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. My number is 1 (800) 867-2532.

It is a micro-abrasive. Do not scrub too hard or you could damage the finish of the product surface. When used lightly, it really works like magic.

It just smelled like I left dawn soap on my shower wall and was using a magic eraser. It also broke down very quickly and I was only able to get one use out of it. I will not be purchasing this in the future.

Although I don’t know that this made that big of a difference compared to the original magic eraser. It definitely foams up with soap, but I wouldn’t say that it is better than the original. I would probably just use the original moving forward.
