The soap does have aloe vera in it! Lots of bubbles to leather the dishes and remove food/grease effortlessly. Mrs. Meyers is always free of artificial colors, parabens and phalates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a diehard Dawn Dishsoap user, I half expected to be disappointed in this Mrs Meyers blueberry dishsoap. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was excellent at cutting through the grease and baked on food on my pans. Easily cleaned the dried on cereal left in my kids bowls and the dried on lasagna on the plates from dinner two nights ago. It smells nice too. Not extremely strong blueberry scent which is nice because that might have been a gross mix with dirty dishes. Also, the formula was gentle on my skin so handwashing without gloves didn’t leave me with torn up dried out hands.

The formula is gentle on my hands but still cuts through grease. I also appreciate that it’s plant-based and cruelty-free, so I feel good about using it in my home. I'm always excited to see what new seasonal scents Mrs Meyer's releases. Most are incredible (fresh cut grass, pine, peppermint), some are misses (tomato on the vine). But this blueberry scent is (surprisingly) my new favorite. I was expecting to smell berry of some kind- and berry is what you'll smell in the top notes. But the middle and base notes are what I live for- they're calming and spicy, like a great cologne or perfume. I can't believe I'm saying this about a dishsoap, but I'm obsessed! This is the best smelling dishsoap I've ever used. It does what it claims and smells great- can't ask for more.

I love that it is has less toxic ingredients and doesn’t impact the environment as badly as other soaps. The smell is an added bonus too, it smells very nice.

The soap itself works really well. My dishes were easy to clean using this. I’m not a super fan of the top push down closure as typically those gunk up after a while. But so far I really like it.

I’m not totally sure I’d say it is “blueberry” but certainly a lovely summer scent! It makes doing the dishes much more enjoyable as well. Will definitely repurchase!
