Potential to be a life long use brace

I bought this 10 years ago. Still using the same exact one today. My wife is now having knee troubles and I was shocked to find out they are still being sold.

Mueller Green Knee Brace is the best!

Most comfortable of all the knee braces I've tried, and the easiest to put on and take off. Least likely to expose the hook side of Velcro to bare skin. (Ouch!) Least likely to succumb to gravity and become an ankle brace over the day. This "Green" #86455 is considerably better than the similar #65457 brace, with more convenient straps. (I've tried both.) The "green" features are nice, but not why I like this brace. It's just more comfortable and supporting to my painful, arthritic knee.

Allergic Reaction

Good brace support but got nasty allergic reactions several times until I figured out I was allergic to whatever the brace is made of. I thought I got bitten by mosquitoes but after the last reaction I looked up and found warning signs everywhere. The last reaction was bad and very ittchy and painful . Made my knee swell up and even made me have hives . Whatever this brace is made out of , it can’t be good . There should be warning signs on the package in bold letters . They should look for other materials to make this brace out of .
