submitted byMunchkin - 2 years agoBrand expertA: The straw is very narrow, and boiling water won’t flow through. A water jet from a sink sprayer or a rigid strand such as a bristle from a broom can push residue out.

Q: We have 2 of these cups, our loves them but the straws have started to leak. The cup will be sitting on the counter and the liquid will come up out of the straw. Does this mean the straws need to be replaced?
A: Its standard expansion as the liquid and air in the bottle warms and slightly expands and pushes the milk up the straw.

Q: It is so hard to suck any liquid out of this cup? I can barely get milk out, let alone my 20 month old. Is there something I can do to fix this?
A: The straw is very thin, and Munchkin states it is for a 6+ month old. Once they get to about 12-18 months, the straw flow is too small.
