Q: can baby drink from any angle? Is straw east to clean. Are there lot of parts to clean?
submitted by Drying time - 5 years ago
A: The straw is very easy to clean. It comes apart in two pieces - a thick hard plastic straw and a flexible part at the top where the valve is at the very end. Baby can only drink from the one direction though; if the cup is upside down, no liquid.

Super easy for my baby
Super easy for my baby to drink out of. I like that you don't need a ton of pressure to open the straw and drink. Great for new learners!

Perfect Sippy Cups!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cups are perfect for babies and toddlers. They are easy to wash, and there are no spills. The little ones love the handles too!

Good transition cup
My daughter had turned one and still found it hard to transition milk to a cup. She also struggled with regular straws, and the doctor told us not to use bottles anymore. So I gave this cup a try, and I was so surprised she was able to use the straw straight away! I love that I can give her milk or water and let her carry it around while she plays, she drinks more fluids now too. She loves to hold onto the handles Give it a try if your child is struggling with the transition to a straw! One negative is sometimes it can spill if the lid gets flipped the other way in the bag, so not 100 percent spill proof but we still love it and she doesn’t spill it when using it at home.

Impressed
I'm thoroughly impressed I'm not sure if with the cup or my baby but he just hit 6months and can drink from this cup. He swings it around but when I place in his mouth it's easy for him to sip from. A win!! Btw I put prune juice in it for his constipation since he just started solids.

Good cup but didnt work for our family
Too difficult for my young toddler to use unfortunately. The handles are great but the straw piece needs to be sucked on a certain way to activate the water suction inside, and sadly it didn’t work for us. Perhaps I’ll try again when they are older!

4 month old
My 31 year old self attempted to get milk out of it and failed but my 4 month old breast fed baby figured it out. It took five minutes. I think she thinks it's a toy. She is able to grip it well.

Great cup
So easy to clean. A learning curve with biting down on the straw, but great once they catch on!

"This is Tricky!"
Finally gave it away. Wanted a no-spill cup with handles and a straw, but our baby couldn’t get any water from it. I even tried pouring apple juice into it so she’d be more motivated. I handed it to my two year-old to try, and the first words out of her mouth were, “This is tricky!”

Amazingly durable
This cup was recommended to us by our pediatrician. We are still working on getting the hang of it but this cup is AMAZINGLY durable. My son throws it across the room multiple times a day and it doesn’t break or spill. A great training cup for sure.

Great cup for child who has already mastered a straw
My 9 month old has been able to drink from a straw since 6 months, and this cup was an easy transition from an all silicone straw cup. I do not think this would be a good first straw cup, as the one way valve in the straw would be confusing. The straw is nice and “chewy,” which is a plus for my child. It’s very leak proof, and easy to take apart and put together, which is a plus for me. Great size for little hands, and I love the handles. The straw is angled to pick up liquid even when somewhat tipped, which is smart.

This cup is amazing. No leaks and easy to clean. Have 3 for our grandson. Have other styles and he prefers this one.

Best straw cup we've purchased
This is the only infant/toddler straw cup I’ve found that truly doesn’t leak. My son was used to drinking out of straw cups and had no problem using this one straight away. It’s super easy to clean (though you will want to have a straw brush) and I love that the ounces are printed on the cup.

Dont buy this cup if you actually want to drink
I thought the design of this cup was perfect until I saw you have to bite down on the straw to open the straw to drink out of it! I wish I read reviews before I bought it. I couldn’t even get water out of it, not sure how my 6 month old is supposed to know how to. I regret buying this. It’s literally made for parents that want a spill proof cup.

Not beginner friendly
This cup is the perfect size for my 6month old. She grabbed the cup right away and knew exactly what to do! However, the straw is very difficult for her to get water out of because you need to bite and suck at the same time. This cup will probably be more useful when she’s older but for now it remains in the drawer untouched. Really wanted this to work out!

17 Month Old Did Not Approve
This is difficult even for an adult to drink out of. Must bite the straw to get liquid out. My 17 month old is used to the Munchkin straw cups so this one wasn’t for her.
